1. For me its pretty much like Vellordo said. I played on cataclysm once, but after moltdown [some people called reboot]. Lose all 10 of my level 85 character, i lose motivation, its like you build your career for years and just one day all of them vanish. When i decide to start over again i feel its not worth it anymore to play in cata, let me guess because i don't know molten front "STILL" not release right? they already said they working on it 2 years ago, its just empty word, vash jr quest chain still broken right? twilight highland story quest chain still broken right? sub rogue still bug last time i play there, they only focus on raid, raid and raid and once they finish with dragon soul heroic its done. You will pretty much almost never gonna see them maybe couple of old dungeon/raid.

So i decide to play in MoP maybe i could find something to explore, lore for adventure it think it was better at least i can check out pandaren new zone just sightseeing doesn't matter as long as i can explore new lore and story. But once again I WAS WRONG, everything there except raid was pretty much ****ed up, RDF bugged i wonder why they don't work on it people do that daily people need that to advance to raid, its pretty much abandon. I que once to rdf and got stormstout brewery and OH MY GOD, you can't target anything in one room you get timer when you dive underwater and if that runs out you died, and you can't attack 80% of the time there because you will always get this messege "TARGET IS NOT IN LINE OF SIGHT" especially in last boss. Once again they only focus on raid, raid and raid. Now they working on throne of thunder and heart of fear. So rdf gonna be ****ed up for 1 or 2 years until they finish with siege of ogrimmar. They said they gonna work on cloud serpent quest chain 3-4 months ago, still nothing so far. Alot of pandaria faction reputation is bug. Quest is 90% bug.

So i never play since 4-6 months ago, i just log in to get vote point. I'm a casual player i take my time, so if you are hardcore player like raiding then good for you. Better play at WOLTK server. Molten no longer like they used to at old day. Raid is number 1 priority, everything else is small.

  2. No thank you.... I've killed everything in WOTLK and i know other servers that i would play if i want to experience it :) Just my 2 cents! I like MOP cause i acutally enjoyed it (back in siege at least)
Yet we see how many people play Wrath rather than Cata or Mists.
Two things before my PoV are a) im mostly pver b) Blizzard has confirmed for countless times that they are balancing classes by pve, not pvp. And that is not only about damage, raids and dungeons arent dps races most of the times, they are also about survival and what does class give to the raid including buffs, procs etc.

But for me Wrath seems better in PvE, Mists are still great and has many additional things - scenarioses, challenge modes, timeless isle, even storytelling came to a new level. Then WoD came, and I see what they tried to do, but they shot too far. From one swamp they got into the other. Allowing one profession items to someone who cant pick up that profession cus has got 2 others is a good idea, however the way to do that (garrisons) failed. Many considered old AV as "good times back then" however they cannot be returned, WoW has changed as a whole and this Ashran didnt work because it simply has no place in this new WoW construction. They even tried to get more people into pvp by putting capitals in world pvp zone, but.... that felt as forcing to pvp. Which again failed.
My point off topic is that ideas behind Warlords were decent, but the way they were made come true were wrong.
Though to me as to a pver WotLK>=MoP>WoD>tBC>Cata>Classic.
Back to the topic - in my opinion, more balanced and more things to in endgame as well as they invented "progressive leveling" as main type of leveling. We see it in Cata and even a bit in Wrath, but here they made it to be the main type. To those saying "cata more balanced" in cata oneshots are possible, in Mists in endgame (not talking of lvl19 rogues in 5.4 :D) they werent as long as person knew when and how to use defensives. PvE wise as I said scenarioses and challenge modes in my opinion provided more to do endgame then ever before.
    Just my point of view.

  3. WOTLK is the best.

But to stay on topic, MOP has more players because blizzard broke so many classes in Cata.

Also, MOP is the latest addition to Warmane/Molten, so it's still shiny and new.

Another reason players could choose MOP is because they enjoy the new class and much enhanced graphics.

  4. Mop has more player compared to cata only, not wotlk.

  5. MoP has better PvE content. PvP I can't speak for, but every raid tier in MoP is solid, whereas only tier 11 was really great in Cataclysm.

  6. I think that 4.3.4 could be a really good patch for pvp arena wise, if it wasn't for those hc weapons and trinkets ruining the game. Without those unbalanced procs the pvp would be less bursty and really focused on crowd control, class knowledge and team coordination/sinergy. Sadly they haven't still implemented all the AT fixes to the Warsong realm core and those damn pve hc items are still there.

  7. mop pvp is broken as hell with tons of bugs, but can t really complain bc i remember playing on ragna/death/lordareon with every mele playing with lolmorune and 6 pve HC offparts plus op icc and rs trinkets so w/e

  8. I think it's mostly because people stuck to their characters on Cata as they had already some progress on them. Since the wipe I can only guess that these people moved on to the newest patch, what else would have stopped them from doing so after having lost said progress?

  9. If the Servers/Realms/Game in general is sooooooo terrible.... LEAVE!!! You arent being forced to play, and if you are really upset about the functioning and broken items in game, either help, stfu, or go back to giving Blizz your money. Personally I appreciate getting to play on here for free and am thankful. Yes, it is annoying to run into broken quest or instances, but no one is forcing you to play. Quit complaining like bratty spoiled children, give intelligent info for fixing the issues, or leave. Why be spreading negativity when the world gives us enough of that? C'mon grow up.

  10. I am for all realms. But my thing is always questing. Love to quest. Love the storylines. Will only do dungeons or raids if peer pressure or storyline. Will play on WotLK realms for the memories of the original stuff. Class questing and stuff of the sort that they took away when Cata dropped (thanks Deathwing, you had to go and screw up the world!). But the core of everyone's problem is that they seem to always be for the endgame content. That right there is the problem that you guys run into. It is all about getting that one item or conquering that one boss. But after a gazzillion times, you get so bored. How many of you guys have I passed that are sitting at level 90 and just stand around Org or SW doing nothing? What happened to the achievement whores? If they fixed everything and made everything worked would you be so bored? How many people would run low level dungeons and raids just for the memories and not because I need that one mount/gear and I did not get the roll on it so here I go 50 more times? You do not have to role play to be able to enjoy the game. Tons of stuff to be able to do in each expansion. Though I do have to say that until they get cata working better then I will either play MoP or WotLk.
