Or perhaps they should look at the start when Warsong started going on the decline, which started with the Merge of AT, originally we weren't supposed to get Warsong back, but that changed with Warmane which brought AT players. Then the whole war of Molten and AT players happened both treating each other like crap for the most part. Which pushed away the Molten players leaving the AT players with Warsong with the AT population being the same as AT. But when it was Molten Warsong had a far superior population base. And look at it now around the AT population numbers.

I agree. Warsong had bigger population before Warmane, but "who pushed whom" is just your assumption. I don't think ppl would just leave cause there's new kid in town.

It's really a mystery, no one can tell what actually happened cause there's not enough data to make a conclusion. You think you have it? :-) Let's hear it. Just remember, "I heard" and "I saw" aint gonna cut it. It's just your experience and not enough to make statistics about hundreds of people. I think we can only speculate what happened. Maybe both Molten and AT players left for God knows what reason. Maybe Molten lad and AT maiden just left WoW for few days. They met, got married and realized all they need is each other :P ....Hehe, maybe they have kids now, to busy to play WoW.

My guess is that Blackrock was the reason. During Warsong golden days, there was no WotLK pure PvP server. Now, there is. Maybe Cata PvPeers tried it and some of them moved to WotLK.

    1. I seen both sides attack each other relentlessly on Warsong and in Forums (Not as much on forums). Which there is proof in a few threads which confirms this.

    2. The only reason blackrock population increase was cause of the free gear, but even then the numbers still didn't add up to the original warsong.

Ah, cmon... :) You say hundreds of Molten players actually LEFT cause few threads show some fights. You saw fights on Warsong. I'm sure that there were, but why would someone just leave cause of that. Even before, some people were insulting each other. There are different people out there, kids and brats. Some of them spit on others and some of them are just nice. You remember that guy who always calls you 'noob'? You win him in duel using starter gear and he still calls you 'noob'. You can't help it, he will say that no matter what you do :D

  5. Maybe not left, but went to regular servers. The idea of shoving AT's core into Warsong got quite many people unhappy. I believe for the most part only old AT players were happy with that idea, in fact. Our players liked the little bit of PvE content and getting to use all the advantage available in the expansion, instead of being restricted to purely PvP equipment like ATers wanted. If that's how you liked to play, would you accept being forced into those restrictions or would you rather continue doing PvP the full way in a regular server?

I'd have to disagree with you here. First of all the people spamming the old threads in the beginning when AT Core was suggested were no more than 3-4 with alt accounts having 15 posts in a 2 paged thread. You might also try logging on Warsong at peak times now and take a look at the global chat, it's filled with people spamming how bad this core is, and they're definitely not from AT.

Also another thing most of you seem to forget is that half of Warsong's population was regulary active on AT and vice versa. If a lot of AT players quit/moved or whatever, this obviously is having impact on the old Warsong's population because they were also casually playing here.

Our players liked the little bit of PvE content and getting to use all the advantage available in the expansion, instead of being restricted to purely PvP equipment like ATers wanted.
Are you implying that currently there is no PVE content, no unbalanced PVE items and overally nothing PVE? This is exactly the same old Warsong, and the reason people are leaving is obviously not AT core, because there is no AT core at the moment.

If everyone wants to kill monsters, then ffs what's the problem allowing this 'little bit of PVE content' on AT core? We "ATers" don't mind having this as long as PVP is smooth, balanced and bug-free.

at least those roleplayers who want pve on a supposed tournament pvp realm can switch to neltharion..
we can't switch server OR realm to get a pvp realm where everything isnt bugged beyond imagination

If we go by your logic, Warsong is really fine, considering there's like one or two dozen people complaining in the Forums about it, yes?

I'm implying that knowing the way you like to play is going to be ruined sooner or later is enough to make people move. And maybe you don't mind the PvE content that was in there, but you must have missed the whinefest it was from the other ATers who consider using PvE equipment as some sort of cheating apparently.

It's not fine, read his text again.. He said that there were 3-4 people with alt accounts complaining about the AT core coming (what will never actually happen lol)

  10. If we go by your logic, Warsong is really fine, considering there's like one or two dozen people complaining in the Forums about it, yes?
Those one or two dozen of people currently are actually the only ones left playing here - and they are complaining. Do you think Warsong is fine?

The current situation of Warsong is ruining the play experience for both sides, not just ATers.
I'm pretty certain that in my previous reply I said "no unbalanced PVE items". If you were deep into PVP-ing you would consider them 'Overpowered' or as you called them 'some sort of cheating' too. There's a simple solution for this, we don't mind having those items available in BGS, duels, world pvp, we don't want them in a competitive environment such as arenas.

People would leave cause they don't want to deal with that kind of ****.

That being said, the AT players, should be able to adapt to the META, with the PvE gear regardless if it is overpowered. But they chose to whine cause (assuming AT didn't allow PvE gear at all) they felt it was cheating. Which is understandable, no one likes to be forced to play a certain way. But considering we have an AT realm (Blackrock) the AT players could just go there and leave Warsong alone. Since Warsong was a Molten realm. I mean have you seen the threads about people not wanting it? To be able to keep whatever PvE is already accessible. Then having the "AT" players tell you to play on Neltharion, when they completely miss the point. But with the AT core there would be no mobs/npcs. Even when suggesting that the AT Core could have both of what's already there, they still would put you down. There really is no talking with them, as they have the attitude of "I'm superior to you, your opinion means nothing."

All I'm saying is ever since the AT merge Warsong went downhill. I was never against the merge however, I was all for it. So we could have a bigger population. But it is what it is.

It is so funny, that "moderators" and romz who has no PVP background wants to tell us what core we should play.

The so called "whinefest" is legit, but with several reasons.
First of all: Malaco said that we can keep AT core with no problem, obviously it was a lie.
    2. After almost half a year we have serious balance problems (overpowered pve items)
    3. Lack of bugfixes (just check bugtracker: 5 month old gamebreaking bugreports - still not fixed)
    4. 2 (!) months ago Malaco promised us again that you will implement AT core to satisfy 95% of the population of Warsong.
He said they only need tiny more work from a DEV to finish the job - obviously it was a false statement again.

So please, instead of talking of something you clearly have no idea, why don't you just make a POLL about it...

  13. Maybe not left, but went to regular servers. The idea of shoving AT's core into Warsong got quite many people unhappy. just bring At core don't even bother comparing molten core with at core and 99% population of wsg will be happy with at core instead molten core as someone stated down there make a poll if you are so sure that there are more players that like the current core. bring at core and stop delaying it already its been already more than 3-4 months that 'soon'

  14. Just give us AT core, thats all that freaking realm needs. In contrary the players will increase since lots of AT players have left after the merge. Most of us look forward to playing on a decent and entertaining core as AT. That being said, the only thing that could save warsong and its population is definitely 3s solo Q.

Cmon WE ALL WANT AT CORE.

  15. oh and from what I've seen, Warsong players are now unable to obtain any transmogs since you get 0.8-1 vote point per day and items cost upwards 20-30 vp, meaning you're out of luck and will have to spend a year to get one full transmog.

    Have fun, fellas!
