1. Just saying =) "This is Warmane, not Molten."

    Mostly Same people different name. Nothing I can add to that because it's the truth.

    Edit: I'm not talking about gifting here just the staff being made up by a lot of the same people. Personally I expected no gifts

  2. Must say I'm quite disappointed, there's been a huge suspense with this, as it was building up pressure from the beginning, tbh I was expecting more.
    Molten, or Warmane, whatever the new name is choose to be the ones gifting, not like we can force you to do it, and let's be honest, I'm not trying to be selfish, but what can I do with 7 VPs and a 'random ammount of' a rare quality blue caster cloak on my paladin, which is for level 70s?
    I'm quite disappointed, especially that the coins I've received after the data-wipe couldn't even bring 1 of my characters back, while I had 8 with 1 or 2 items short to BiS. Calculated it, that I've needed 1139 just to bring my paladin back, and this only counts for the 3 main item-sets that I've been using, excluding the specific gear for certain encounters, and all the vanity items that I've had, instead I've got around 200 or 300 coins, which wasn't nearly enough. Not to even mention this was counted for just one of my 8 'big' characters, would've at least expected something now at least.
    And to the mod that said blizzard doesn't give gifts and bonuses, I've got a free mount out of the blue, some boosters and tons of other perks just for playing on Blizzard, not that I'm advertising, but please, don't bring up stuff that ain't true at least.
    The only good idea is the code, which could've been a 70-80% price reduction instead of 10-20%, but whatever, still a good idea.

  3. As Snake Plissken would say;

    the more things change,the more they stay the same!

    Best of wishes to everybody !

  4. I'm a contributor(donated 50 euros),in this xmas i got 6 POINTS and 0 COINS,thx you warmane,awesome gifts.

  5. To all the people complaining,

    The gifts are gifts. It would be polite to thank for any gift you would receive and not spit in the face of the person or persons that had given you the gift. Considering Warmane is a massive community, distributing gifts to everyone would be awful, because you wouldn't know what different players should have, how much they 'deserved' and how long they have played on the server. Instead, a system for the gifts given was used in order to distribute them that depend on the amount donated and, possibly the activity rank AFTER THE MOLTDOWN (to all those people that still think it matters for their achievements before the wipe).
    As for the rewards, no, you aren't supposed to do anything with them. You can just wave it off like any jumper you would get from your grandma instead of an iPhone. You won't tell her she sucks. You will accept it and throw it in the back of your wardrobe. So what if you can't spend your 3 coins? So what if you think you can't find a use for 6 points? Every single bit of these coins and points get you closer and closer to an item. 3 points could save a person with a ban and a bad activity atleast 6-7 days before the next item. 3 coins could be the last few bits before that guy selling gold for coins can get Shadowmourne on his main by just using the trademarket and selling gold.
    Just because you don't need it, it doesn't mean you have to spit at the Staff. They don't know you. They don't know if you want a pony or a racing car, or if you're disabled and you can't stand up without a wheelchair. You can't be the dude who complains about not getting the wheelchair. You have to thank that they gave you bits of something that gets you CLOSER to getting the wheelchair.

  6. None of you people were ever entitled to anything. That's not the point of a gift. If you're upset you didn't get coins, then that's on you for not having donated in 2015.

    Personally, I loved the 46 coins I got :D. Just perfect for getting my rogue Havoc's Call and STS, so I can start getting him into some heroics already. Thanks Warmane :).
