Most people are nice. But there are still some kids http://imgur.com/a/lGxiA
Nothing wrong with that - it's simply easier to take someone with good gear rather than take an undergeared one and hope he can make up with skill.
Lol that single player mindset on the bottom.

Another trolling activity just made another dent to my view of the community. Just recently we were having a small RP event in the Pig 'n Whistle tavern. Everyone else left but me and another Paladin posing as ex-Scarlet Crusade. I was in the middle of reciting the Death Knight lore regarding battle of Light's Hope Chapel to my friend when this level 80 Draenei Shaman stroll by and decided to do everything he could to disrupt us, ranging from setting firepit on table to sitting on my Gnome, and setting up some random totems next to us. Another guy on my ignore list I guess.
He was the only person to do that though. The other just passes by, except 2 warriors who joined us out in the blue after we were joined in by another one in our group who came in late.

As for GS, yeah, people these days expect you to run heroics as quickly as possible
Haha, I get this often too!
This morning I killed a mob for a quest and 4-5 seconds after it's dead a druid appears and types "**** you" in the chat. I didn't even see this person until that moment.
I just started leveling on this server today, and that second one is hilariously close to what happened.
Killing kobolds in Northshire, I charge auto attack a mob, paladin calls me a *****.
Hilarious how much entitlement people have to mobs.
On another note, I haven't had an actual bad experience with someone yet.
Now I remember the exact opposite happening to me. But in my case, there's a reason I addressed the quest mob killer.
See, my group and I were questing in STV for Nesingwary Jr. hunts. We were in the middle of hunting some panthers when a Warrior(?) 80 (Human) came charging to the mobs and started massacring them. I don't remember whether we tried to invite him, but when he kept killing our quest mobs repeatedly, I decided to politely notify him, "Excuse me, but we're doing quest here". He responded that he's levelling his skinning up. I then told him that there are other mobs around the area that he can kill without disrupting others (lower level Gorilla or Tigress for example?). He proceeded to tell me that he needs to level his skinning as much as we need to do the quest and after a heated argument, he decided to /ignore me.
As a side note, you can pretty much skin other people's mob. Unfortunate that we can't reach a win-win solution
