What did you expect? Of course they're going to cause Emblems of Conquest to drop from heroic instances. There was never any talks of doing otherwise. In addition, the fact that the rating of arena teams will not be reset is something, which you're turning into a more substantial issue than it is in reality.
Perfect way to screw up the following season. Why did they even consider doing this? Having time to catch up doesnt justify this..
Say you do play to get high rating then season starts and you're 2.2k + and all you do ( or at least the vast majority will do ) is play 10 games a week for points.
Once again a horrible decision that will kill the competitive aspect of arena for the following season making players get bored and leave faster because there is nothing to do.. It's season 7 and TOC.. youll get conquest emblems from dungeons and buy tier 8 from vendor so noone will do any naxx or ulduar pugs anymore and all players are left with for the following months is a 5 boss raid ( arguably the worst ever made in the history of WoW)...
What's gonna happen as a result of all these things combined is people are gonna return to the game for the first month or so then the population will drastically drop, very likely below even what it is currently.

The fact that blizzard never did this in the almost 10 year period arena has existed means im not overemphasising the tiniest bit how ridiculous this is, even more so when you take into account this is advertised as a blizzlike realm.
Sure as hell now its been confirmed a lor of people will rush to get as high rated as possible in the upcoming fortnight.
Is it normal to start a new pvp season with the same rating you managed to get 3 weeks prior to the season ending? Is it normal to statt at 2.x k rating while others be it from one issue or another simply couldnt play? How is that an even playing field?
The major issue with this is normally when a new season starts all rating and MMR is reset so players start from scratch. What that means is that the first 2-3 weeks its pretty difficult to get past 2k rating as there are a lot of previously high rated people playing at the same time, so the first weeks are more difficult, and as the season goes on the very good players start settling on the very high ratings and the not so good ones at the medium ratings. Basically over the weeks everyone gets pinned down on exactly the rating they belong to and thats how its supposed to be.
Releasing new gear and not resetting teams will only fk that balance tremendously.

In spite of the fact that the original developers of the game have never conducted things in that manner, it's not necessarily a bad thing. See below.
While I understand what your concern is, you need to realise that, even though you make it seem as though people have an unfair advantage, they do not. We were told, when the season ended, that the developers would not reset the teams. Unfortunately, the post was not to be found again. However, there is no imbalance in this system: You're unhappy about people gaining rating prematurely, while you, in reality, could be doing so yourself.
Season on Lordaeron should have ended 20.9 and everything would be gucci, ekun stop rationalizing that ending season 3weeks before the new one was not the dumbest idea ever. They can still save it tho by reseting the teams again along with currencies. All this only because they wanted to have synced season endings on all realms, lazy devs in my eyez.
I just don't see the true downside to the arrangement that they have made.
what?
they could habe just ended the season with actual toc release= 3-4 more flushes with 1k points is a lot especially when the time to buy fuöl gear is already limited enough(t2 wep 2h, 1h shield , thrown wep, 5/5 set) and no i dont see the point to grind rating again for 3weeks.
they could habe just ended season with toc release or already release s7 but this was just a horrible decision without anythinking. or they could have ended the season without reseting rating until tocrelease ? just a horrible decision and i am sure every arena player will agree
I'm an arena player, and I don't agree. What does it matter if you "grind the rating" now, compared to doing it when the actual season is released? I don't think you're wholly reading what I'm writing.
the downside is that you can farm up less furious gear since you probably wont get 3 flushes with 1k+ Points and can´t even save the actual points for the coming relentless gear.
Would you consider rephrasing this to something that makes the tiniest bit of sense?
that sentence is 100% gramatically and logically correct.. it appears you have a problem with understanding but let me dumb it down enough for you to make some sense of it: He is saying that because they deleted the arena teams for no reason whatsoever 3 weeks prior to the season actually ending, you end up farming less arena points. I was almost 2.3k rated on my main and i was getting slightly above 1000 arena points with every weekly flush.I could've pushed 2350 and farmed enough for tier 2 weapon. I could have gotten full furious geared on my alt character with 3 remaining flushes but i cant any longer..There are probably several hundred players in this situation, players who could've used the remaining 3 weeks to gear up more before the new season but they got f***ed.
So once again it would be lovely if we could hear an answer from a dev as to what the logic behind deleting teams 3 weeks prior to the season actually ending was? I'm dying to know...
