1. It's ok since Ghostcrawler left Holinka made DK FOTM and bull**** OP in PvP for the past WOD and Legion. ^_^
There is a better target then Ghostcrawler, there is a chap by the name of Tom Chilton. He managed to ruin 2 games single handedly. He was the jackass behind Ultima Online Age of Shadows xpac (AoS destroyed subscribership, and changed virtually every game mechanic), and was the Director of Wow Cata xpac (his first as director). Both abominations.

  2. There's no community anymore, people just log in, do a few dailies, and LFR. It's lame.
Only if you don't care about doing content that might actually be challenging.

  3. Cataclysm. I played it quite a bit and I do love it for it's own weird charm, but it was the downfall for me. MoP was fun for PvP, but the PvE was lackluster for me. WoD was just plain bad. I played it for a month, then quit. Legion... I played two zones from the new area and quit. One of zones was so boring I couldn't play it for more than an hour at a time. Cataclysm is the last expansion where I really participated in retail WoW.

  4. I still play retail and I love Legion so far, but I've never disliked an xpac so that probably doesn't mean much. I play wrath here for the nostalgia (I started playing wow the day wrath came out), but tbh it gets kinda boring to see the same content all the time. However, I've made some amazing friends here....so as long as they want to keep playing, I'll be here.

  5. I loved MoP literally because I started playing Destro Locks, and they were the funnest dps class I've ever played. Before that, I only played healing classes cause I couldn't DPS for my life. But for MoP I just grinded Brawlers Guild, I literally only played that, then world events. It was the most fun I've had in WoW since WoTLK when I first started raiding.

WoD was **** and we will never talk about that again.

Legion is ****ing genius... but I can't afford it so I have to play on PTR by myself cause there's no one on there unless there are raids for testing. @_@

  6. I lost intrest when Cata came out simple because the gameplay on my toons had changed so much to the point where nothing became challenging, In WOTLK you had very hard classes that took alot of practise, Still went on to MoP thought, Game looked amasing I loved the new areas but then the daily spam came to get geared, and the challange of playing your character never really came back and Im glad I quit before ****fest WoD came out.

But now I do really like the looks of legion but the game itself (all expansions) are too damn expensive.
I would totally pay for legion but I dont wanna pay for their failuire expansions just to get to the good one.

btw is WoW the game with most expansions in the world? When does WoW 2 come out? or is this some money grabbing way of forcing people to pay for a game they allready missed out on just so they can enjoy the new 1/7 part of the game that just came out.

All expansion before legion (VANILLA, TBC, WOLTK, CATA, MOP, WOD) together are 15 euros.

  8. Nice, you sir just made me change my mind, se last time I checked it was slightly over 60 euros.
Maybe Il try this legion after all :D

Everquest has 23 expansions. All of which are purchased separately from the base game itself. There isn't any "battle chest" for that game.

Yeah, the battle chest is pretty decently cheap. It will also allow you to play all contents up to level 100.
Legion itself is $50, but it will go on sale sometimes - so you can keep an eye on that.
Then also remember there is a monthly subscription. When you initially buy the game, though, you get a free month.

  10. The game became a joke after Cataclysm.

  11. I played from just after release up to WotlK daily (with like, maybe a month or so off, total, over the years), and loved every day I played the game. I took a break after I killed LK, since to me, that was logical endpoint of the Warcraft story (having played from WCII and WCIII).

Played Cata for a while, reallllly didn't like the changes, so I didn't go much further than a raid or two.

    MoP? Nah, wasn't even interested.

When Warlords released, I was pretty interested, so I played for about two months, and just couldn't take any more. Really felt like they broke the whole feeling of what WoW was.

Legion looks alright, but not much more than "alright" to me.

To be honest, unless they roll back a few changes (no more LFR, cross-realm phasing, etc), I really don't have much interest in playing live WoW again.

It's not even the class changes, levels, etc, it's the fact that they killed the MMO in their MMORPG. There was something really satisfying about playing on a server where you recognized people, what guilds were good, etc, that was just lost after WotlK.

And to be honest, I doubt they'll ever make those changes, which is a shame, because server communities are what made the game so much fun in my opinion. The friends I made, your reputation, and having real pvp grudges and world pvp battles made the game so much more fun than what it's turned into.

  12. exactly for the same reason as Voevoduul,
Vanilla and then BC were hardcore on retail, that's why i like Lordaeron so much, with LK it became so easy, i should have stopped in Cata but stayed until WoD which was cool for the story related to BC but that's all.
Never again, it's more a Facebook apply than anything nowadays.

  13. the game started to feel to easy after cata came out exactly why i wont play on ice crown or any boosted exp servers for that matter i like the old school 1x exp leveling experiance from vanilla-lich king
