1. Agreed. This is why I made a Utility Rogue; the use of various items and geared that can completely alter the course of a match.
So far I managed to gain, 10 second silence aoes, sleep targets when dps'd, increase stealth range and detection, armor reduction around 3k+, tripling damage from 1 attack when proc, slow one's dps by 20%, make my poisons do 2 times the normal damage via procs of an old school trinket, etc.

I made my rogue this way because I'm tired of the same old, same old in warmane PVP, its always the same thing, so I decided to make my rogue as crazy as possible and I get so much hate for it too.

Methods like this trumps pay to win players. But it makes me miss vanilla/tbc wow so much tho :S
What trinket does that for you? Can you link the item's url? I haven't played a rogue yet in all my WoW time, but that sounds awesome :D

  2. if there's money on the table there's a game changing label

Batman does not tell his secrets and what he does makes him different. My Rogue on MOP is a completely different kind of monster and I am the only sole Rogue on the realm that plays in an outlandish way, so this will remain secret.
If anything, the only hint I can give you is this: Vanilla and TBC items and consumables.

  4. It's pay to win. You can buy all that bis gear to one shot lowbies in bgs and make the highest dps in raids. You don't even have to step into a dungeon, bg, arena or do world events to obtain achievements and titles as you can buy characters with all the achievements on character trade.

It has been this way for years here.

Pay to win term means you gain advantage over other players in some ways not avaliable without donation.
Here, on Warmane, any random gypsy is able to raid ICC heroic and get gear WITHOUT DONATION.

  7. To be fair to Warmane they need to make money somehow.

  8. @Tam
ok, since you'r not the only one to post the same "explanation" we get it, except one thing,
if a random guy want to be bis on the server, he must found a solid raid, win the roll in the middle of X other people, may be slow down by DkP as well, which means it will take months to get a full stuff you can have with donation right?
even Shadowmourn quest isn't doable with only one ID right? so you need really a good raid to do it, i mean a raid who down all bosses everytime right ?+ he must be the ONE you can't have more than one blood per run, so with the GS inquisition, will the guy going to found such raid without problems? i doubt that, then saying the stuff is available because YOU were able to get it or some part of it is "right" , but probably not for every one as it was on retail.
Well , it's not P2W but it can give you a huge advantage on others for long, we all know that in LK era Dks/Pally/War with SM + the good trinkets were nightmares for almost every others.

Yes, that's true, but it's difficult to get the gear when many people in a raid compete with you for loot and you're locked to one raid ID for a week. Situations like losing rolls or someone ninjas loot can make you wait a long time to get your desired loot. Donating for gear allows you to instantly obtain the gear you need and save much more time. That's one of the advantages of donation.

  10. another day, another qq post about p2w from a scrub who got oneshot from full bis war/ret/hunt. u should actually use ur brain and get some crafted blue pvp gear instead of joining rbg in ****ing quest greens and getting shrekt

  11. What does it matter how someone got gear? I sold gold, bought SM and oneshot lowbies in greens. I donated, bought SM and oneshot lowbies in greens. I raid with my guild, proved to be able in my role, proved to be on time to raid one evening each week, did SM quest and oneshot lowbies in greens.
It is you who has to do something about it, get better items, play AH, join guild and raid, PvP with friends. I enjoy to splatter greenies because most of them think its somehow unfair, the fact that it all is in their hands does not compute in their head - "stupid donatuurs, so unfair, omg p2w". Guy who smashed you has same buttons, same spells, same content available as you.

Donating for gear can be "easier", or "faster" than in raids, for example, donate everything in one night, or just donate 10 bucks for que skipping then use the market for weeks, truth is, from a non-donating perspective, you will have a big problem, and that is fighting against over-geared players on your entire long journey, which can result on a giving up.
The thing is, everyone knows the general gearscore is very high, well, it's totally understandable since most chars are here for several years, so, people shouldn't consider this as a pay to win, probably newcomers will due to not knowing the realm properly, but it's more like a pay to catch-up. It can be an advantage over non-donors, but overall it's not.

  13. Its pay to catch up not pay to win.
if you think it's pay to win, you're ******ed.
