So his idea deserved some credit

No, especially since Blizzard make it show it's a bad idea, or do you approve the way WoW choose to go?

We'll keep it in mind if we ever consider a Battle for Azeroth server.
There's nothing to not approve about finally being able to play on any server, no matter which your friends picked to go to, and not ever having to look at PvP if that's your choice. The only people "hurt" by that option are the ones who will "miss" not being able to force their choice onto others - and I personally thoroughly enjoy reminding them on retail that their "fun" is on a countdown.
