blizzard balanced it around pve. and a lil' bit of old good balance around 3v3, 5v5. 2v2 never was balanced bracket (look at tbc 2v2 ladder - out of top 50 - 14 teams with druids, balanced af, i guess). and 1v1 is impossible to balance.

i still cannot understand why u cry about pvp balance in pve-oriented game? u still dont get it 14 years after wow release?

To be honest there was still titles and rewards from 2s bracket in TBC so it make since to talk about it,but people who point out 2s PVP in WOTLK are just players who have don't know much about PVP.



show us 3v3 game with ret or DK that have been 15 mins long( and there is no x2 healer comp).i will really like to see that.Or you still cant understand that Blizzard balance their game around competitive 3v3 bracket,not casual 2v2 or random battlegound PVP.

wtf are you talking about.1V1 sittuation in 3s/5s happen like once every 100 games and ret vs dk specific situation is like 1 of 1000 games and in top of that having 15 mins fight between this 2 classes in arena will happen literally never.99.9% of this fights will be over under 1-2 mins.To be honest i had never seen DK vs Ret 15 mins duel,i feel like this is something you come up on your own or happen once per year.And you are taking this as example of bad class balance?You are completely delusional dude.Also where was the last time you saw DK or RET paladin in 3.3.5 that win or even reach finals on tournamet?Also pls do link me youtube video of 3v3 arena at high rating where the DK is clicking and facerolling,since you claim that there is so many you can at least find few right?Because this sound like another nonsense you made up.

lets see here dks and rets did more dps in pve then arms did all Through wrath and both dks and rets did just the same or better dps as fury did all Through wrath. both pallys and dks were better tanks then warriors were in wrath and both pallys and dks were better in pvp in wrath then warriors were. dks and pallys had atleast 2 if not 3 specs "dks" that was good in high end arena warriors on the other hand only had arms and that was the last part of wrath. warriors were good for what?by the end of wrath warriors got buffed and were good in 2v2 backed by pally "lol" or in 3vs3 teamed with a dk and pally "lol". see the pattern here?pallys and dks.......

Wow was the biggest esport back when wrath was retail (by a lot, cs was dead, lol etc didnt exist yet and so on). Pvp was a major part of tbc-Mop.


And disregarding that, i agree that RETAIL wow was/is mostly a PVE focused game. Private servers arent, they are pvp > pve. Pve content is old and gets stale, it doesnt change and becoming better doesnt really matter at some point. Once you are BiS you are pretty much done pve wise, get an alt, do achievements etc but the "real" pve part is over. For pvpers the game starts once you get BiS, it can entertain for years, it is constantly changing and you are never done.

There are pretty much 0 PVE private servers, for a reason.


If you want to be a pver play retail, private servers are to experience old wow for people who never did and to pvp.

Maybe you are new to World of Warcraft or maybe you never ever touch retail in your life so you don't know that almost every expansion is broken at release.Blizzard cant possible know how things will work out that's why as time goes they rebalance the classes(and their raids/dungeons as well) in both PVE and PVP.We focus on last path because this is the final version of classes that blizzard come up with.If you wanna talk about the most broken(or bugged) part of each expansion,well then every single expansion can be called a mess in both PVP and PVE,because every single expansion have moments where some class is overpowered for a period of time,or bosses are bugged or spells are not working exactly as they are suppose to,but as times goes blizzard fix this problems or rework them.We focus on 3v3 because,as 10 times already have been mentioned and not only by me,this is the competitive form of PVP in WOW,blizzard cant care less about random BG,duels or 2v2,nor any serious PVP player give a **** about that.It don't matter how godlike can a class be in Duels as long as its balanced in 3v3.The fact you even argue about this just show how far from PVP you are.

Well according to Butkus Warrior was **** compare to dk and ret,in both PVP and PVE and in PVP they had only 1 spec arms,because i guess in his eyes prot warrior was bad in PVP.So i guess not all of us know warrior was that good,some people think they are bad :D
