1. It basically counters any caster and deals great vs dk (well vs hybrid still a hard deal), ret and every other more common spec in 1v1.
Yes, Enh is underestimated but how do you kill a ret paly or UH DK who plays defensive?
Ret vs UH DK can already be a endless battle and they both deal significant more dmg than a Enh shami. I don't see how a Enh shami can out dmg the self heal of the mentioned specs.

  2. Forgot to mention enh shaman being a beast in 1v1 environment.

It basically counters any caster and deals great vs dk (well vs hybrid still a hard deal), ret and every other more common spec in 1v1.

Reason why enh is not as often seen on higher ranks is because the amount of players that actually can play enh / knows how to counter certain classes multiplied with the amount of good enhancements actually willing to play 1v1 equals a number that can be count on one hand.
enh, realy? that is joke? i saw zero enhs who can kill ret

  3. Warrior better than ret? You mean prot pve?
Warrior has mortal strike and tons of bleed things that will kill you easily + slows. And no warriors aren't the ''weakest'' in 1v1. With correct gameplay and stance dancing you can win vs everyone.

warrior can't win vs defensive pala or death knight

Maybe on low skill you can beat everything as warrior. When we are talking about high skill players then warrior is in fact the weakest class for 1v1.

  6. Blood elf silence or draenei Gift of the Naaru will not help? I mean, human with two pve trinkets will stay in novas half time of duels, that is not helpful.
I never said anything about race, people will use either or both of those 2 trinkets regardless of whether they're human. The objective for most is to simply outlast you

  7. Every single time one of these threads pops up it gets all the attention and you all go nuts!
Why would you still contribute to getting more Retri paladins and DK's to this server?!
Next time someone opens a thread asking "what is the best pvp class, 1v1 class whatever", We all agree that assasination rogues are number 1.

  8. idk if noone can play it but during wolfs you pretty decent dmg+heal!
i had never problems with killing ret in a duel, i can force bubble with wolfs/bloodlust almost instantly and having almost always enough time to finish ret off, during the rest of wolfs. however this includes playing it smart enough to either ground hoj or repentance, or atleast baiting it to be used too late for the paladin to recover.

vs dks i find it even more easy (As long as its not hybrid):
i pop wolfs/bloodlust on gargoyle and kill it - this gives me enough maelstrom procs to outheal myself + im kicking/ground gargoyle on cd but it should die rather quick actually. when i cannot kill DK during rest of cd durations its mostly a loss because im running oom earlier or later, while dk can outheal himself with deathstrike. but mostly i have enough time to kill DK. however when im lucky with wf (have 3 or 4 wfs in row), im able to manage killing the dk without cds.
EDIT: well playing enh is always coupled with rolling the dices and praying in RNG tho since the amount of wf procs scales exponentially with your chance to win the match-up because more wf means more dmg + maelstrom thus your healing capability.

    - i would even say in an instanced 1v1 scenario, enhancement is able to kill any other spec/class if played smart. (well except uh/blood hybrid dk) - those guys might only be slayable by frost mages or dlocks...

  9. what about feral druid bois?
Dk/Ret is a counter for feral, frost presence for dk, 1h/shield for pala and it is over, but druid can easly run off :D

  10. what about feral druid bois?
nah, bleeds are meh and both classes have better mitigation and therefore more effective heals, they hit like a truck too so...
restealth doesn't help much vs classes with self heals. Add poor pressure outside melee of feral...

when you "win" as feral is because you stunlock and burst with direct damage, but they have ways (specailly paladin) to negate that.

  11. My list

    1. DK
    2. Priest
    3. Paladin
    4. Lock
    5. Druid

    6. Warrior
    7. Mage
    8. Rogue
    9. Hunter
    10. Shaman

You could swap a few based on personal opinion, but this is closest to the general consensus.

  12. To answer to how an enha kills a retri: PURGE, he gets literally everything purged of. While you keep gettin ggrounding on hoj + shields from stoneclaw that he cant dispel. You get to 5 stacks very fast and keep healing yourself. Pala has no way to reduce your healing or remove your buffs while you sit there autoattacking and healing of procs while purging his aow and sacred shield. When he bubbles you can just hard cast heals on his face and he has absolutely no way to stop you from doing that. Wings->frost shock + purge purge purge to also remove hand of freedom then earthbind, run like a little ***** then purge again. Wings will be purged by then lol...

I agree that dk is the more well rounded pvper for duels. Spriest and frost mage are one of the strongest though. Reckoning pala and retri are strong as well but they always lose vs good ranged. And by all ranged actually. You can never win a fmage with a paladin unless the mage is an ape stomping his head on the keyboard...

Also warrior good in 1v1? maybe only if he has 1k gs more than you lol...

Enha may wins a PVE/BG hero retri, but not a skilled one.

The ret will just sit 1h+shield and tank all the meme dmg from enha, purge? The pala got 30% chance of resist being dispelled, this basically means you have to spam purge only instead of using other attacks, and even in this way he will still get off a good amount of flash of light more than enough to recover the low damage you did to him. He can also sit wolves and kill them easy while refulling himself. Grounding a hoj/repentance is just luck, you can't rely on that, and still is not a game winning.

It will be a long duel, the pala wont die, you will burn all your cds and sooner or later you will get a full hoj+wings.

VS preg spec is even worse, no meele can beat that.

  14. Best in open field 1v1?
Shadow priest, Destro/Afflic warlock, Frost mage, Unholy DK. Ret paladin also but they are better in 1v1 with line of sight.

Best in 1v1 with pillars/arena/line of sight?
Ret paladin, Shadow priest. Sometimes Unholy DK, but usually Ret paladin is better in this situation.

Ive found there is no such thing as a "best class for 1v1". Its more like a group of classes that are good at 1v1. It all comes down to who plays better that day and how good you are at playing your class/spec in 1v1.
