Hey, I'm aware I'm digging up a quite old thread but I really want to know - can you elaborate on the 1397-1399 arp being "as good" as 1400 on Warmane? Have you or someone done any testing on this? I have classic overcap situation and I'm wondering how good these last few points of arp rating are.

For a precise and objective answer, I advise you to use Rawr and the WotLK Classic feral simcraft. Try different gemming options and see the numbers for yourself. Usually, the difference is minor.
[edit] I don't know your current gear, and I assume it's not BiS. This is why I highly recommend using the aforementioned programs. They can calculate the damage gain from each Arp rating and show you what the most optimal gemming build will be for your current gear.Edited: February 22, 2026

hahahaha cool build an all. But if you try to join PUGs as a Feral Druid Dps you will not even get a reply i did it with mine alt with 5621 gearscore feral druid for DPS. whispered 4 times when i read a message in global chat . No response from PUG(Pickup Group) raid leaders. So no this build is not meta. I do not hate the idea. But you people. Your community in Icecrown thinks that feral druid DPS is a joke a meme. So i guess i am turning it to a tank. I could not get an invite for VOA 10 normal and 25 normal... VOA!!! A raid with bosses where people in PvP gear join the raid. So warlock affliction or demonology , boomkin, and others can go in to a VOA but a feral Druid that is not a tank cannot. This is Ridiculous!!
