Two seperate server cores, enormous amounts of work for negligible benefits and tons of classic wotlk bugs that will follow.
Emulating the classic wotlk client with third party crap and proxies that has a big chance of spreading crap into your PC is not a risk many of us will take.
The classic client only "works" on private 1.12/2.4 servers that has zero modifications(custom content) added to it.
Those servers are very likely using the old Nostalrius core (vmangos) or cmangos for tbc content.
Where as majority of 3.3.5 servers are using TC that is super mod friendly something that the classic client and core does not like.

You will not have to run any "third party crap" or "proxies" if the server speaks the protocol natively, but you know that already.

For me that is another advantage.
That would also mean that ALOT of features that we have come to love on Warmane such as solo que, transmogs, christmas events many more would not be possible.

There is a difference between something not having been done before and something being impossible. Besides transmog the rest of things require you to spawn npcs, gameobjects and to teleport players around, which I am confident should be possible with the new client as well.

It is also possible and has already been confirmed several times in other projects. Things like the missing dungeon browser can also be added. In principle, you can leave a lot of content there or remove it. It doesn't really matter when it comes to that.
You need a separate Classic Core which will then run Wotlk Classic. Of course it's a lot of work but it wouldn't be impossible and it would definitely be worth it.

I thought the dungeon finder was added in the last patch just like it happened in 3.3?
I do think that people know what they are asking. It's up to everyone whether they think Wotlk Classic is better or worse. I would bet that most people will notice the improvements. This was actually the case with every Classic expansion.
But the choice doesn't even exist.
But just out of curiosity, I'm wondering what other, much more important improvements are supposed to be? I guess 3.3.5 by 2037 or something? At least I can't imagine that Warmane makes everything solely dependent on Wotlk 3.3.5 32 bit... and that as long as the ruble runs. Then I would somehow question the planning tbh.
....When I think about it, there has actually been an empty Mop Realm for several years that has never been actively worked on or its general usefulness has apparently been questioned.
But of course you can go according to the principle "only as good as necessary and not as possible". lol
How insulting of you, thank you.
I would like to lay it plain. If someone asks for a feature, they are then also asking for the work required to create it. If you cannot recognize that there is a difference and continue to pretend people are only asking for the former, and that ignorance of the latter is an acceptable response to what I said, then I have no idea how I can further this conversation with you.
I'm not arguing about which client is better. Never made that claim. That doesn't change the simple fact that for the minor features provided by said clients (yes, I said minor), the work involved would be monstrous. You can argue about whether or not you feel that those features are minor or not, but when compared to the workload required for them and the tangible impact they'd have on gameplay, they absolutely are what I said they are.
There are other things that we need to work on that we consider more important, despite your claim that we don't work at all, or just "enough" to be "necessary".
