You won't write more, cuz you know you've ****ed up.
The rules may not say that you can't need roll for DE, but the way they are written, they still basically cover needing for DE without stating it so.
If I win with greed, I'm not stealing from enchanter. Now does it matter if I win with greed or DE, you still didn't get anything. Enchanters used to be "I can DE that for you" in dungeons, act of kindness, something you seem to be unfamiliar with. That changed with introduction of RDF, where DE roll was given for all if enchanter was in the party so players don't have to do this back and forth trading when disenchanting, and now some entitled enchanters think items/DE belongs to them alone.
Self entitlement seems to be rather strong.
I have several enchanters, never had an issue with others pressing that DE button.
