1. That's a good point, something needs to be done about soloq, but it's not respectful at all for players who obtained them legitimately. I would suggest something like wiping all the PvP titles once in a while, including R1 titles every 1-2 years. There are plenty of people who have obtained R1 soloq titles by getting wintraded, piloted/boosted both on Blackrock and Icecrown. I'm not going to accuse anyone, but those who are deeper in the arena community, know all of the names of these people, and yet most of them are still playing. I agree that it's already very demotivating to continue playing here legitimately, while you need to endure all of this nonsense, just to get your "prestige" title wiped the next season, without any warning.

    Taking into account the following:

It's incredibly hard to get Supreme on Blackrock and almost impossible, due to all the cheaters. Especially if you play like any of the popular classes (warrior, paladin, shaman, priest). It's considerably easier on Icecrown and Lordaeron, but still the very same people who are cheating from Blackrock are playing there too.

I suggest wiping older R1 titles with 2000 max rating would be beneficial too. Since they got obtained years ago and doesn't represent your current skill level accurately, but this related only to Icecrown and Lordaeron.

I completely agree that there's a big miscommunication between Warmane and the community. I would suggest something like information board about planned changes for the upcoming season.

  2. Majority of the cry babies are probably people who sell their supreme characters on the warmane trade or more likely selling their account/characters outside of it (Not allowed)
Imo all arena titles should be seasonal and expire once the next season starts with 3v3 perhaps being the only exception to this.

  3. Hi everyone,

I understand why many players feel upset about the recent removal of the Supreme titles. A lot of people invested a significant amount of time and effort into earning these rewards, and for some players especially those who achieved the title on multiple characters this change feels like a major loss. On the other side, I see some arguing that certain classes or players “didn’t deserve” it, but regardless of opinion, those titles were earned under the system that existed at the time.

1, Why this change feels wrong

Removing earned titles (especially high-prestige, R1-level titles) without offering anything in return sets a really concerning precedent. Players work hard for these achievements time, energy, and passion go into PvP progression. Taking that away after the fact feels punishing, and it discourages long-term commitment.

Reward removal is the Blizzard approach we all disliked. As a private community-driven server, Warmane should strive to do better. Players should feel encouraged, not stripped of what they already earned.

2, Current PvP reward system feels lacking

Right now, being Rank 1 in Solo Queue only grants a title not even an achievement or cosmetic reward. That’s extremely bare-bones compared to most competitive systems. At minimum, Rank 1 should grant an achievement, but ideally there should be more:

    *Unique mounts

    *Pets

    *Tabards

    *Exclusive transmog sets

Even seasonal R1 or Gladiator rewards should have permanent compensation for those who earned them, not just temporary status that can later vanish.

    3, Why rewards matter

When players know they can win something permanent and meaningful, participation increases. More people queue, PvP thrives, and the server benefits. Seasonal formats in other servers (including Blizzard’s) often die because players feel unrewarded over time. Warmane can and should do better.

Even giving lower-tier rewards (like Challenger) unique cosmetics would motivate far more players to engage with PvP. This would make the ladder healthier at every level, not just the top.

    4, Community frustrations

    Players already feel ignored when:

    *Tickets get automated replies

    *Bug reports go unseen

    *Matchmaking get worse each season

Removing rewards on top of these issues sends the wrong message. PvP needs support, not punishment.

    5, Conclusion

Please reconsider this direction. If seasonal reward changes are necessary, then players who previously earned titles should receive equivalent permanent rewards as compensation.

Rewarding players builds a stronger community. Removing rewards only harms motivation and participation.

I hope the staff and community understand the intention here we all want the server to stay lively and competitive, and meaningful PvP rewards are a huge part of that.

  4. Personally, I think this change makes the Supreme title a less attractive goal to grind for and SoloQ already is lacking in meaningful rewards aside from the R1 title.

Why, for example, is the cutoff for Gladiator titles in SQ still percentage based? I can not remember a season where anyone except R1 made that threshold.
The least active and competetive bracket by far gives out at least 15 of those per realm. I didn't see any 3s games at season end when I checked, while the top of SoloQ was incredibly active during the last days of the season.

If this change was made to promote SoloQ activity, I wholly disagree with the reasoning. The top spots are only fought about in the last few days of the season anyway. Here, the activity was high as ever and a few oldtimers more participating in this battle doesn't change anything.

One reason for reduced SoloQ activity and ratings I can see is, that the rating system punishes queuing with high rating, when there are not already high rated games going on.
Because a players rating change does not consider the rating of their team mates, it is always bad to play in lower rated games (even when the match is balanced mmr wise, one will loose more/win less as the avg. mmr is lower).
This stops ratings from climbing at a certain point and also disincentivises queing at high rating during most of the season.

Let's take my quick example as demonstration:

Few days into this new season I queued a bunch of games and I'm now at 1800 mmr in SoloQ. From this point onwards I was just getting teammates with an mmr of 1.4k against teams of 1.6. Although I was the superior player in the arena, it is not possible to "carry" my team to victory with the absurd lack of skill my team had (with no disrespect intended), the mmr diference was just unbearable.
Therefore I am forced to not queue for 1-2 months until the average mmr playerbase increases at least 200-300 rating

I think what you are describing is more of a general problem of climbing fast or just playing in early season.
That you get matched with uncarryable players like this is unavoidable after a hard reset. (If hard resets are still suitable when most games stopped doing them is another discussion.)

To give an example for the issue I was talking about: Suppose you have a balanced (as in equal avg. team MMR) match of the following teams:
    [2000, 1700, 1700] vs. [1800, 1800, 1800].
Now although the match should be balanced, the 2k player will loose more and win less points. The current system seems to only compare his rating with the opponents rating and does not consider, that he was weighted down by his team mates.
If one is ahead of the rating curve, this is how many games will be matched, especially as DPS with long queues. I can see arguments, that the current system prevents certain abuse cases, but it further disincentivises queing at high rating and probably deflates the range of SoloQ ratings.

  7. Warmane proves once again that they don't care about their community and just do whatever they decide to do,no matter if it harms its playerbase (which made them who they are) and doesen't listen to community feedback if they have done something wrong and we decide to try and talk to fix things.
Been a part of this community since 2015 and these last few year-year and a half been mindboggling to me.
Would've loved to say its been a pleasure but it would be a lie so i'll just say best of luck and peace.

  8. Still waiting for a fix for the SoloQ titles that were not awarded to players

  9. Woah you don't eavn get a Achevment for solo ques ??
I guess now ik not to waste time on it : /
