I don’t understand why people are being so foolish and not even considering lowering the drop rates and increasing the cooldowns for materials or minerals, or adjusting the spawn rates. That way, the problem would regulate itself naturally, since trade between players would increase, as well as interaction overall. Prices would balance themselves, and gold would gradually disappear because demand would exceed supply.
So overall, they should simply rework and adjust the systems instead of cutting everyone’s gold in half. I also find that very questionable, considering people paid for it — and in some countries, digital goods purchased with real money can even be subject to legal action. I really don’t understand why Warmane would put itself in such a bad position instead of addressing the problem at its root.
Anyone who crafts items ends up burning gold anyway, especially when the crafted items are soulbound and can’t even be traded. Honestly, I think this is a very poor decision — and, among other things, quite irresponsible, primitive, and overly simplistic.
"Characters that are guild masters will result in the guild being removed."
Can u explain to me,whats does this means? ty
It means that, if a character is removed by the inactivity cleanup process and that character was the leader of a guild, the guild will be disbanded, and the contents of the guild bank will be destroyed.
if you half the gold then half price on every item in auction after cleaning if you half gold and price for one day and after that auction price are like old what the point >?>? if you half our gold and price are same like now you steal our money no point to half gold
This year the economy was tough; there are few Boes drops, not like before, gathering professions are yielding half or less,
and quest gold is much lower than it used to be.
Speculation is being controlled because people aren't buying such expensive items anymore and tend to lower prices. When they hear about the squish, prices rise as a result. For example, an item that was 4k before the announcement is 10k after.
I don't think the squish is appropriate this year because new players can't even afford Cold Flight with enough gold anymore.
You guys should really try and announce this in game, Warmane used to provide constant updates in-game chat announcements about server downtimes and other massive stuff, this was nearly 5 years ago. I returned to Warmane this year so I was unaware of this Gold Squish nonsense.
But even if you have stopped regular In-Game Messaging, at least for something as LOSING HALF YOUR GOLD should be announced via In-Game Chat Messaging and should be updating on how many hours till Realm offline.
For that gold work is done,it's not coming from nowhere. But ok prizes are rizing on servers because there is less of something. That means there is less playtime on servers. The prizes will go down otherwise people can't buy your item and you get stuck with it.
However the server Lordaeron is the one not very much gold is earned because everything is gettin slow and you cant buy with coins excerpt AH items and gold.
