Old married couples are always together and they go through their own ups and downs. But if one partner screws up horribly, you better hope the other partner is forgiving.

Everyone...has a limit when it comes to their love and forgiveness. Even mothers have limits for their children. Even your loved ones can only **** with you for so long until you break down and stop caring about them because you can't handle it anymore.

I don't think its necessarily that they stop caring for them, but allow themselves to move on from that conflict, even if it hurts them inside. They might still care, its just buried deep enough inside that you won't find it. The love is still there, though.

I think some people think love is some magical bond that will only have positive things happen to that relationship.

That isn't true at all. Love is complicated, yet simple.

I could say that I'm in love with three girls at the moment. One of them is in a relationship. What deters me from pursuing her is not that she's in a relationship, but that being in relationship with her would be BAT**** INSANE.

I pity that poor guy.

Now, I'm still capable of loving her, she'd be a good friend if we talked as much as we used to, but it'd be a hassle to live with her. I'm not saying it's not possible, but living with a person who's as stubborn as I am would have catastrophic results.

The chaos could have it's fun bits, think how Scrooge McDuck and Glittering Gold act. If she loved me back, that is.
