Just for those of you who are wondering what's up with the guild, I'll write down what is our progression like and what are our plans in the future.
For the record we're successfully farming The Ruby Sanctum 25 Heroic (can't usually 1-shot it due to the bugs so raid takes up quite a bit until we get lucky and we don't get bugged ember running around and swarming everyone or bugged corporeality), running through 3 Icecrown Citadel 25 Heroic runs a week, all of them downing Sindragosa successfully as well. We do 1 to 2 ICC 25N runs every week as well as few 10 man raids, usually hosted by the guild members. Our expectations (in near future) is to down The Lich King on 25 Heroic difficulty (it's been a while ever since we killed it anyways). I do have plans prepared for it, all we need is some schedule, changed around so we can keep on progressing. These are our sights for the near future, if you would like to be a part of it, please do make sure you apply on our website with exceptionally good application since we're not looking for people whose experience is limited to normal raids only. At the moment we're focused on heroic raids so our recruitment is closed for general applications. If you feel like you're well prepared for heroics and you're feeling like you'd like to be a part of our community then apply!
A little bit about trialling period and members filtering.
Long time ago (few months back, when we reformed) our trialling period took up to 2 weeks (at most) to get promoted to member. Nowadays, unfortunately for some less patient people, trialling period takes a lot more (can last up to 1 month). Due to the overflow of our new members you should take care of the following things in order to get accepted to the Severance community:
- Application - every applicant should do their best while making up the application form. As long as it is annoying to make one up (or boring even) we will demand for you to write down what we ask for. If you're not feeling like making an application in order to get in our guild - I do apologize but there is nothing else we can do except leave or apply. This is the only way out to start off in guild, application gives first impression to our officers so as mentioned earlier make sure that your application is exceptional and so is your character (in game and IRL).
- Raiding - every accepted trial will (or at least should, if they are on-line every day for the main raid) get into the raid. We are demanding for people who are geared up for heroics and we will not accept anyone who isn't ready for those yet. Trials who make crucial mistakes in raids like Icecrown Citadel or The Ruby Sanctum will be immediately removed from the raid as well as from the guild so make sure you have ability to listen the raid leader on raid call as well as play your class while executing fight mechanics well enough.
- Socializing in guild - Severance isn't all about killing big purple bosses or trying to settle down the dead. We are a very social guild, making up some random raids just to enjoy the other environment, our guild chat is usually occupied by someone, we're always in action, no matter what our players are doing. If you are going to bring us negative energy or will try to ruin guild members day in any other way (usually people don't know definition of trolling and crossing over the line) then you will have to turn around and leave. This is not a place for those who want only items - we're here because we want people to enjoy their gameplay as much as possible. Our team is dedicated and fun so as long as you can go with all of us in-game, you'll have a great fun!
So, if you are feeling like you can overcome these challenges apply on our website now and I can promise - you will not be disappointed as long as you don't abuse the rules and disrespect guild members. Dedication is one of the most important factors for us, if you are feeling like you have some free time which you'd like to dedicate for someone (as well as numerous other things I wrote earlier :) ) - feel free to apply and experience the end game raids and great community today!
