After reading 37 pages I still havent seen (m)any convincing arguments on why this would be a good idea.
Can someone give me some objective and ubiased arguments on how:
1) This would benefit the Onyxia server.
2) This would benefit the Blackrock server.
3) This benefit is not unreasonably skewed towards one or the other server.
If you dont know what the words objective or unbiased mean please dont bother replying.

It's always the old pve players who want to put their two cents in things that don't concern them. If they wanted to grind the game in all its aspects, if they wanted to spend hours farming gear and going up to max lvl, that's their problem. Those who are not happy with that, they reroll right away, it's simple though.

then we have people like yourself who just wants to insert themselves where they don't belong, keep blackrock in a separate bracket as well as limiting the gear they can get form honor/arena points to only pvp item! No items that are normally found through raiding.

In the arena, your need to optimize yourself is like you in pve, except that we get pvp and pve coins at the same time. So to answer you, no, we can't limit ourselves to pvp gear lol and as for blackrock, unfortunately there are not enough arenas during the day because we are a small community. Anyway, whether you like it or not, that's how it will happen so you can write whatever you want here to whine, it won't change anything.

1) This benefits Onyxia the most because without this cross realms queue system, the arena scene will be almost inexistant on it and anyone who would want to play pvp will be forced to go on blackrock. Even without blackrock being on tbc, the arena scene will be dead pretty fast anyways on onyxia, especially after season 1. The vast majority of pvp players do not wanna bother leveling and raiding to play. This just always happens on pve oriented realms like onyxia and you just gotta look at the bg activity currently on the realm to realize it, you need a lot of players queueing daily to make the scene active.
2) For blackrock it also brings more people in queues, which is always appreciated, mostly in bgs I'd assume as blackrock players are obviously more interested in arenas than bgs and onyxia players will most likely be more invested in bgs than in arenas.
3) Its not unreasonably skewed towards any serv imo. The way it is gonna work means if you have a lot of free time as a pvp player you should go on Onyxia because you will gear up faster than blackrock players, you can actually expect many players who would have never played on the serv to play on onyxia bcs of this. Sure some beginners in arena on onyxia will cry that they have to face better players than them from blackrock (maybe they should make onyxia players start at a slightly lower mmr) but the reality is that it's either this, or 1 month of active Qs before you have to start waiting 30min for a bg and having to face the same 3 teams in arenas for the rest of the year.

I would rather have a Blackrock style only arena TBC server as well but somehow only Wotlk is able to sustain a core playerbase needed to do that. TBC arena players rather hop from fresh to fresh to grind and farm lower experienced players because I guess permanently playing vs the same guys that are sometimes way better is not really fun to do every day so they need a lot of casuals in the arena pool.

yes you can, if you want the pve items go do the pve content for it, simple as that.

as i said, pve items should not be available on a pvp only realm if it's crossing over to our platform! we don't need or want you there

Yeah he's making zero valid points on it lol. The reality of the situation is that after season 1, almost every tbc progressive private server, the arena scene takes a massive hit because majority of arena only players don't want to do tier5 raiding. Blackrock having arena gear available for arena points/rating will keep the population way more stable in the long run. It's a massive W from Warmane for doing this. They're fully aware that pvp players don't enjoy raiding and they are not new to the game of running private servers.

The reality is that you are angry for investing yourself in the game, while others can be just as well equipped as you with much less investment. But in the story, it is you who decided to level up your character and grind on the game. No one put a knife to your throat. You can't blame the pvp player or those who manage this server. Do you want more people on the server? This is the solution, otherwise, in a few months no one will pvp on your server and there will only be bots who pex and guys who do the same dungeon over and over again and you will be fed up too. Now when you say that you don't need us, PvP players on Onyxia, well that's just your point of view, don't make your case a generality. World of Warcraft is a game with many aspects, and there is something for everyone. Everyone has their own experience with the game. World of Warcraft was never a game based solely on PvE content.

whatever you say bro, doesnt change the fact we on Onyxia do not agree with being intercepted by a little to no effort realm into our pvp bracket. Yes pve items should never be available on a pvp realm if it crosses over to a realm that can get them the legit way.
