People complaining about low to high 100s latency makes me giggle. Been playing with 400-420 with spikes up to 7k from China. WTfast cuts it to 220, then a spike occurs and it crashes. So it's either play with 400 minimum and cast preemptively or play with 200 and get DCed :D. I know a few other people that play from Asia, they are also experiencing around the same latency. Hell.. sometimes we get 100-150 ms increase for a few days, blocking DDOS coming from Asia I presume? I've been doing arenas so that is also possible.
TL:DR
Playing with <200 ms should be *ok*
Your post makes me giggle. Are you ****ing serious dude?
I don't care if you never played this game at a competitive extent with your ****ty latency. Playing with high latency is NOT normal, deal with it and don't laugh at real PvP players expectations.

I have a 100 mega internet connection, never lagg on retail or any other game, but on warmane lordaeron server i always have randomly 100-1000 ms, it jumps back and forth, i am literally sometimes 10 seconds without being able to cast anything. It makes even PvE raiding very difficult, if the lag wont solve im betting many people will leave. just split the server and make cross server BG's and give free server transfers for the first month or so. More people will join, less que + lagg, everyone wins.
TLDR: SPLIT THE SERVER - CROSSREALM BG - FIRST MONTH FREE CHAR TRANSFER!
The funny thing is, i'm in Brazil playing with 220 ms. Doesn't matter if the server is full or empty, 220ms with an ok gameplay. No Spikes, ok responses.
No. No, it shouldn't. As i've commented a thousand times on your US/Asia apparently or whatever logic, the fact that you are forced to play with high latency (and are by now used to it) doesn't mean that we have to do it as well.
You are entitled to nothing. Where you live has absolutely no bearing on that fact.
For what it's worth on Saturday night lag was really improved and even though there were some spikes the feeling was generally better, almost resembling the situation when cap was below 8k. So you actually did something correct that night, might as well tell us what or just do it in the future as well.

I agree, I don't know if it's placebo but I did notice an improvement at max population
