You people are forgetting there are multiboxers on ragnaros horde side those boxers will also play a roll in the win lose ratio RBG's after the merger is done. Also I do feel Horde lack PvP geared healers in BG's, if I still had friends who played this game I'd make gear disc priests and do warsong premade with 5 geared priests.

90% of RBGs are a premade group vs randoms. The premade group stomps - regardless of their faction. My biased view: Horde have ALL the rdudus.

I don't think there are many boxers. Haven't encountered many, but then again, I don't do rbgs for some time now.
No idea on world pvp, I'd assume it's as alive as 5s.
Mmm maybe they wouldn't, considering there are lots of pvp guilds on ally side you may face some resistance.
