There will be a devlog update in the next few days outlining the work on Cataclysm with an ETA for the update. As many of you are aware, it's not our focus but we still hired and assigned a dedicated developer that's working on it and we might be looking in hiring more depending of how well our funding is.

It is not our intention to lie or deceive, the very reason why we wanted to remove the expansion is because we couldn't give it the attention it deserved but after the community's feedback we decided to give it all we can with all the circumstances in mind and we'll continue doing our best to have it receive decent updates over time even though it is not our development focus.

Btw...is it worth having "Warsong"...if those people who plays there, join "Neltharion" community, I guess it would be only of benefit for our realm..

It is generally bad idea, really bad. People got their full gears for free on AT and Warsong, aswell as gems, enchants etc, while on Neltharion people are struggling for it. Also warsong is instant 85 realm, while neltharion is x7 rates, so basically if merge happens, people will just make 11 level 85 chars on warsong and never even bother leveling on Neltharion..
I agree that all the skilled players from warsong would benefit neltharion's community but consequences are too big.

expect nothing tbh. all they keep saying is "soon" "something" will happen. i'm way passed the days of getting my hopes up for them to make good on their words when they say anything at all to nelth players. i know they are busy on other stuff and they probably don't mean to deceive us, but im not going to believe they care until they actually show some love. even if they do push through something drastic, im willing to bet they will do that and then continue to ignore us for a very long time to come. warmane can say it listens to nelth feedback- but what we'd like are actions, not just a mere acknowledgment that the messages were read/recieved.

they didnt do the mop merge because they realized just how many future donations theyd be losing out on from such a loyal and dedicated community, and also bc itd be a massive slap in the face to anyone who had ever donated here. if only they could consider the amount of donations that would come pouring in if we knew it wouldn't be a waste of resources, time, and energy. thats what playing on nelth feels like atm to me. please warmane, save nelth.

how you know when you are getting shafted? when a game like dwarf fortress gets more updates per year than this server. gg warmane

Ive talked to people about this and it's unfair to do so, people on warsong get BiS gear (rathrak, cunning, BLF, GURTHALAK) with conquest points. They do not have to do anything for that gear, other than cap weekly while people on neltharion either buy it with coins or farm DS. The best option which is most fair is to let them have 1-3 instant 85 options with a vicious season 9 set similar to the items we got after Moltdown or a ruthless set.

Another option is to remove all DS gear the toons on warsong had obtained if that is even possible

We don't need another 20 more rogues with BLF on the server

And if anyone like me was following Frostwolf's forum, they'd be skeptical of this since that whole 'A devlog has been written for Cata and MoP and will be up tomorrow' and yet never happened, not long before christmas
