1. Killing the healer isn't always possible especially in rated bgs where they are at the back and you would have to overextend your whole team (considering you run a spell cleave) which isn't always a good thing.
2. Considering we aren't using your logic because you know we would of already wiped at this point, you do realize "clearing a path" isn't the easiest thing in the book to do and facing certain comps can depend on wether it makes it easier or nearly impossible to do so (bringing a Blood dk / feral / Prot war FC can make this huge).
3. Putting the flag is mostly easy, but only if the enemy already dosent have the flag at which a couple things can occur, both teams will turtle their FC, the enemy will send most of their team to kill your FC, stall long enough for your FC to get 8-10 stacks of FC debuff and nuke with 3-4 DPS
4. "Rinse & repeat" different guilds / teams that want to win will always change up their strategy if they are losing resulting in different tactics (obviously in case you can't comprehend) which is far from repetitive.
Now let's compare DS
1. Morchok, run to boss, dps, run back, dps repeat dead
2. Zonozz, dps, bounce ball, stack repeat dead
3. Yor shaj (most RNG) dps, kill purple>green>black globule, repeat dead
4. Hagara dps, run in circle avoid AoE kill 4 shards, dps, make a chain and get the conductors hit, repeat dead
5. Ultrax, dps press button repeat dead
6. WARMASTER, dps , avoid AoE, repeat dead
7. Spine Dps, kill amalgamation at 9 stacks, kill tendon, repeat dead
8. Madness dps arm / wing on 1st platform until it's dead (if you have enough dps). 2nd 3rd 4th platform you switch to corrupted tent, watch out for bolt and GG
Clearly 1 is more repetitive and that is (PvE) DS. Do not come here trying to defend it or be salty because sadly it's just true
