1. Ugh, there are several alternatives to Warmane for WotLK. I've got one server on my mind right now, which has ONE developer - the work on it progresses really slow because of that, but it is some goddamn quality work and godlike scripting. The problem is their pop is as low as the private servers of old times where you had to enable cross-faction in order to have enough ppl for a raid.
Yeah, I mean there's no real alternative when it comes to population. I mainly play at night when all the properly scripted servers are pretty much empty. But they peak around 1-1.5K anyway ;x

Personally, I give up. I really hope that Blizz will finally open legacy servers {even tho it's very unlikely to happen) and we'll be able to play our favourite, bug-free expansion.

  2. Sorry bump this but, the issue with icecrown is the fact that id have to say 90% of the realms population is 6k+ leaving RDF annoying to deal with, you're a dps? sit for 30 minutes, healer or tank? sometimes sit for 15 minutes, and even if you get a group, someone rage quits from the group it all falls apart because everyone falls suit to the first leaver, making getting the group back together mid dungeon is impossible, this is what the OP is complaining about, the lack there of help or people leveling characters as is.

  3. Well lordaeron would be for me perfect realm, only reason why moved to icecrown was rdf

  4. cause highly populated & more friendly players, at least on the horde side

  5. My opinion on this topic is because it's let's say a bit easier to level up and because of RDF :=)
