I mean you seem to be really daft but I'll try to explain anyway. This system that you said is better is exactly how people can rush r14 like that. You have people sitting in 8 hour long AVs farming thousands of HKs and will have r14 in no time.
You say this is better than the old system ergo you must be fine with people just rushing r14 gear immediatly and making all the not even released raids basically obsolete. Am i reading between the lines wrong or do you just not think about stuff at all? Or how exactly is this better in any way? Since all you need to get best gear is farm HKs there will never be AV lobby where people actually play the damn BG and its objectives, its just GY blizzard spamming to r14 so your previous comment about people farming rep is also completely void, because why would anyone do it?
If it still hasnt dawned upon you I dont think it ever will. Or you can just lmk how exactly it's better while adressing these unavoidable issues I presented ;)

Why was rep reset for horde? I was early friendly. Was there a exploit on the horde side as well?

there was no rep bug on horde site, maximum rep you could get was 5 from repeatable and 250 from onetime quests. now its all gone without any reason

that guy is having problem with current av has destroyed classic av because people just farm hks not objectives. then i said, hk is for rank gears, objectives for rep gears. my point for him was, people will do the objective eventually when they find that they need the reputation for the rep gears..
then u came out of nowhere with different context, assuming i was okay with however soon people will get r14. regardless, i know your point, but thats whole different discussion from what i reply the guy with.

i was 600pt off from being honored for the back piece, u know hard it is to burn a bunker alone while everyone still need the hks, kekw. but yeah, it is what its. everyone is back to square 1 rep wise.

so umm i remeeber the first day i got in AV and i turned in the quest and got gold, turned in 2 more times for more gold and was excited(and ignorant). so i started grinding the mobs ofr real for 2 hours...and the npc was gone, because it was as i should have known, a bug. they eventualy put the npc back, and now his repeatable seemed to be working fine, rep but no gold.
but apparently, EVEN THE REP WAS A BUG? i dont understand, obviusly never played wow battlegrounds ever before so idk. but even the rep part of the quest was broken? or the fact that you could repeat it was bgged? what was the actual bug part for the rep?

The thing is, you release an update fast for the gold farming people were doing BUT in that update you didn't change the rep. So of course everyone assumed the rep farm was not an exploit and farmed rep to max. Why would we assume that you aren't going to fix the rep immediately with the gold farming going on there? Honestly that really bad communication and not a good way to approach this issue. Plus rep gains are already so high here I think most players assumed this was legit? I mean in 2 weeks we are gonna see players in R14 pvp gear so why would farming up AV rep items be a big deal? I mean... it doesn't make sense at all.

Dude, i genuinely had NO idea this was an exploit as ive never actually played vanilla before i just thought this was the way? and this is a 3x server so it all checked out for me. I spent 125g on the two hand mace, 25g on crusader, 60g for don julios band and was super excited about that! I log on today to see it was all stripped and no refund whatsoever was made? I wouldn't mind at all if there was an unintentional exploit i was doing and everything was just reversed back to what i had BEFORE I made purchases but now 210g is stripped from me?! dude im broke as hell and i dont even know what to do i have nothing

Yeah, honestly a lot of people are feeling like this. TBH everyone I know thought this was 100% OK because they already fixed the gold that people had been farming. Why would they fix the gold and not fix the rep at the same time? It doesn't make any sense, so people started putting in work to get the rep since we all assumed it was working as intended.

Tell me why would they release a fix for gold and not fix the rep? Of course everyone assumed that's because this was working as intended... because why not fix both at once? Or at least let the community know somehow... soooo many people got baited into wasted hundreds of gold on AV items....

i thought the same thing. i heard that it was fixed and then i started playing the quests and farming the reputation. because it is x3 i didn't think anything of it. it had already been fixed. on icecrown it is x7 and reputation is much easier to farm there. now my mace and all the off parts are gone as well as the gold and my warrior is no longer playable because the other items are gone and i spent all my gold.
