No, you guys are just acting like kids in the back seat asking are we there yet. They said they would give us more information after they finished their development. At this point they don't even know themselves. It's already November. The window before holidays isn't that big.
And you guys saw last year what happens if they even make a hint at anything. You guys take it as scripture and if it doesn't end up that way you guys throw it back in their faces.
My observation in any case is revealing the details of the next release too early can hurt a server. If it were two months out still then it would shut down suspense and hype and anticipation. People would be upset and stop caring. They keep that train rolling until it's within a reasonable amount of time where players are still excited about it.
I think this is really a balanced perspective. Half the people in global are raging at people still selling characters that the ragers assert are going to be rendered completely worthless in the next two weeks, and even the boosters are seeing less hits based on an overly-aggressive sense of panic. So some sanity is needed because it's not an everything-or-nothing situation. Yes, experienced (BiS) players want to move on and are bored, but if you look at the percentage of players here, I'm not seeing that crowd as even a simple majority. It would be nice not to crush new players (me) trying to ramp up before the lich is unleashed, but the panic is even slowing down my ability to do that as the overstimulation of the masses is negatively impacting anyone but the BiS people who are already bored. So the people in the middle are tired of seeing global chants of "15 NOV" for a release that we all know isn't happening that fast. The exact thing that this post warns against is already happening, but still, this sanity check is therapeutic! At this point, I'd vote jmsvanbuskirk as a write-in for govna of virginia!
jan 3rd is my guess. prepatch dec 15th. 0 mention and were 3 weeks till december. tons of changes and not even a PTR mentioned. this isnt copy/paste content this is new even for warmane.. id even prefer a mid jan RELEASE of wotlk. no 1 wants to raid during christtmas/new years weeks.

speak for yourself bro, i know plenty of guys who loove to play during holidays, christmas is no exception to that.
Yeh this thread (actually large part of the forum) is full of people like that.
They have an opinion on something and somehow they think they speak for the whole server.
Main character syndrome.
Christmas is just 1-2 days where you spend time with family, also there will be new year. But otherwise people (Like me) usually just took free days around these days to give themselves a good bunch of days off. Its a perfect time to play wow and especially great time not for raids but for other stuff around wotlk like dungeon farming, reputation farminf, profession leveling etc. SO yeah IMO wotlk should be released before holidays and then naxx can be unlocked at january

There is a lot of people inclouding me who doesnt celebrate crhristmas or any similar holiday. So we dont care about it.If they open wotlk few days before New Year we will play.No one force you to play on holidays. If you want go celebrate it with your family or play the game.

The thing is that it would be nice for people like you that don't care about the release date to have some empathy and support the claim of people that have issues with holidays dates. It doesn't matter to you if the launch gets pushed back a week, but it means a lot for the ones affected by it. It costs nothing to be a nice person, some of you should try it from time to time

Plenty of people travel across the country to visit family over the Christmas break for a few days. I think launching Wrath on 27th is ok, but you need to give a little extra time for people to levelling and collect pre-BIS gear for those who can't start levelling straight away. It feels too short between 27th and 7th to be honest to level to 80 and gear up in blues regardless of the holiday.

You dont need pre-Bis for clear Naxx EOE OS with Icecrown difficulty.
