...Why would you think I intended it to be related to what Auryia said? Your stupidity amuses me...
Because you quoted him/her and answered to his/her post?! So I guess when you do something like that, what you're saying should be connected to what you're quoting / answering to?!? Or you just look and sound like someone spilling a load of BS. Which is exactly what you were / are doing.
And yes, your brain is doing almost everything for you, not you for your brain. I see you need a further clarification on what the word absolute means. So let me put it in the most simple way I can. When you'll consciously move all the electrical impulses that your brain sends to control your body functions, then you can say you're in absolute control. Like I said, you can't even control your penis (getting a hard on whatever excites you new generations).
I get a feeling you're a tad slow when it comes to comprehending simple layman terms, so let me try and give you one analogy that might make a lot more sense than yours did. Let's compare a persons brain to an electrical grid of a city or entire country. What you can control (as long as you're paying the bills) is powering up and down the appliances in your home; you can turn on the light switch, you can turn on the TV etc. What you can't control is everything else; the way that electricity comes to your home, to other homes, factories, the way it runs through the conduits and more or less, anything about it outside your own house.
Same thing is with your brain; as long as you "pay the bills" (eat, drink...), you can use it to do all of the things controled by the conscious part of it (appliances in your home). What you can't affect is HOW that brain works; the way electrical impulses "run" from the brain through your body and more or less, any automated function your brain is performing for you.
And I'm pretty open minded when it comes down to it. It's just that I simply have a problem with people trying to look and sound smarter than they actually are, by using "smart" terms out of their butt and out of context. Anyway, I apologize for the wall'o'text cause this is my last post here. No use of having a discussion with someone who doesn't even posses the ability to utilize the dictionary and vocabulary in a meaningful manner.
I like to scare people with some nerdish information I've picked up during school. Most people freak out when I tell them that they are nothing more than a fat organ made of cells who for some reason act as a collective. All the other organs in our body live and function to support us and work under our absolute control.
Absolute control means you can control their working, which includes accelerating or stopping your organ's functions. Use your absolute control to turn off your pancreas, liver and kidneys for a few hours, then come back with proof you did so. Until you do that, your "absolute control" is being used to type nonsense and nothing else.
If you want to be condescending, at least be sure you're not talking bull****.

The brain can accelerate and slow the organ's functions and I said it already. As for stopping them...
Organs cannot work/function of their own, but place them in the right environment and order them with a machine - and they will work. The machine can stop the control impulses and the organs will fail. Same with the brain- Did you know that some people are blind just because the brain shut off their eyes? Don't be mistaken, just because you can't think of something stopping and it actually obeying, doesn't mean the brain can't stop them with a knife in the hand. (don't hurt yourself plz). Some organs can change their functions after a serious trauma, even the brain lobes can take over the control of their neighbour if needed).
Just listen to your own bull**** - absolute control over the body should change the ways of how biology work too? I never said the human brain has absolute control over BIOLOGY itself. The brain is the ruler, without him nothing works, expecting him to stop organs by simple and direct synapse order is exactly the same as expecting a program to run a code written in another language.I also never said the absolute control has to be direct. Nor did I say the absolute control must be regulated by your conscience. I also never said that absolute control must grant the body some alter-biological ability to do more than what it's capable off including stopping organs from working.
If you think that "absolute" should cover that nonsense, that's truly delusional.
For you absolute should mean infinite control, without any limits - now THAT is bull****. You are stick to only one definition of the word and you are expecting way too much of it. I said it before that I used absolute to describe the independent control of the brain over the body - no other organ covers for it's functions.
Diemtee is right that we have misunderstanding concepts for the word "absolute", but you both guys never heard of the phrase absolute ruler?
Surely you did, so here it is how I see it:
absolute
'abs?lu?t/
adjective
adjective: absolute
1.
not qualified or diminished in any way; total.
synonyms: complete, total, utter, out-and-out, outright, entire, perfect, pure, decided; More
thorough, thoroughgoing, undivided, unqualified, unadulterated, unalloyed, unmodified, unreserved, downright, undiluted, solid, consummate, unmitigated, sheer, arrant, rank, dyed-in-the-wool;
plenary;
peremptory
"there was absolute silence in the house"
antonyms: partial, qualified
2.in sole control; possessing absolute power; independent, as in ownership or authority.
When the eye takes some of the brain functions, well...then the control can't be absolute.
I knew from the very beginning that Diemtee used another definition of the word absolute, but I found it amusing to see what else he can add to prove me wrong. Blame me for being stubborn and not open enough right from the start.
Thanks for the laughs tho - calling something is bull**** while clinging to a specific definition of a word (While completely ignoring other definitions), we are 12 year olds, all of us.
I'm really fu***** scared of heights, for some reason, I can't even lay down and look up at the sky, without not being afraid... Something really scared I found out a few years ago, and trying to battle it ever since.
Until you do that, your "absolute control" is being used to type nonsense and nothing else.
... I didn't mean for you to use your face on the keyboard instead. I talked about turning off some organs, not your brain. I won't take that as an example of "absolute control", sorry. You're so deep in a sea of your own crap that you can't even drown anymore - you learned how to breath in it.
I would be really happy if zomby apocalipse would start. Then i could team up with some people and we could go searching for food, water and gas... And kill zombies, a lot of them. But the slow, not the fast ones. Sue me, I'm a coward. :)
Work and life burnout. If you can afford to, get away for a little while. I don't know where you live, but really people aren't so bad and have a sense of community and the online community certainly doesn't represent society as a whole. Certainly do not judge society on the MMO gamer population as it has a disproportionate amount anti-social and emotionally damaged folk that don't feel like fit anywhere else in society. MMO populations tend to have incredibly strange value systems often akin to what you'd experience with preteens. Speaking with people on why they behaved a certain way they did or hold certain 'values' over others will make your head hurt. Or just freakin extremely not well put together individuals. As an extreme example:
Jane Doe didn't like another who happened to be gay and the person knew he was gay. Everyone did. He made a comment "That is soooo gay". She immediately started yelling at him and calling him a bigot. In turn, him being gay, was grinding his teeth. She wouldn't relent with the personal attacks so he eventually told Jane where to go. Despite everyone telling her this guy was clearly not a bigot and it's extremely insulting to call someone a gaybasher who has dealt with those issues personally their entirely life. She absolutely convinced herself he was a bigot and wouldn't relent for months, attacking him personally on a regular basis.
