That's because Japs are less corrupted by money, actually try to make fun games, their imagination and creativity is not halted by social norms, social justice, or wanting to cater to someone. They just do the **** they want to do.

True. I was actually having a discussion with a friend of mine that's one of the biggest gamers I've seen and we're actually talking about the art, story, characters and general atmosphere of the Eastern vs Western games, movies and most of all, comic / cartoons (or I guess manga / anime for the japs).

KOTOR has a good story, but Jedi Outcast is still the greatest single player Star Wars game.

It sure is more fun to control that saber yourself instead of just clicking at things with mouse. The combat system in KOTOR is extremely disengaging. I still might try to play the games through at some point so that I have more right to judge them.

If you want a story, read a book

Also, Kyle Katarn will always be the best character, best jedi, and best husbando material.
