"The McDonald brothers' parents were immigrants from Ireland and were of proven Irish ancestry", blame the Irish XD now gief flag
I guess that explains why their fries are so damned good.
I see what you did there.
I prefer the chik-fil-a waffle fries better. Once you had tasted them you'll see why they are better.
My favorite are curly fries, but when it comes to standard fries, you can't beat McDonald's.
You better be joking.
I could've sworn the burger-flag was enough of an indication.
I beg to differ :x maybe among fast food chains, but i can never eat fast food fries qq. I worked in a fast food restaurant in DC a few years ago, made the fries myself, and also tasted fries of other non-chain fast food places, fries there are just sooo much better.
Longer, crispier, fresher, and just right. Not talking ant the individual making the fries but the standard methods of preparations set by the owners
Most homestyle type fries are generally too thin to really taste the potatoes. You end up getting more of the taste of the oils and grease that they use to cook those fries. Hardees/Carls Jr. (depending on which side of the US you live in) would probably be the exception because their fries are cut to be over twice the thickness of that from those from McDonalds. Curly fries, on the other hand, I believe to be too heavily seasoned to even taste the potatoes. I was never a fan of those to begin with. And finally there are the waffle fries which are made to be cut so that it is neither too thick or too thin. You will rarely have any waffle fries that end up being too soggy, limp like a wet noodle (excuse the puns), or dry and crunchy like a saltine cracker.
Hard to tell the difference those days.
When you're around the stuff every day, cooking it, it definitely won't taste so awesome.
Nah i still like the fries there xD
And it is as that guy say, it was cut thick and long (a whole potato including the skin)
