Forum update

I dislike the new forum. Its pure headache. Would be good if there was option to use old forum.

You should get yourself checked out.

Very, very nice forum, i like it very much.. Good work Warmane!
To be honest, i can't wait for the further forum design and feature improvements.

If you can do the same thing, to the bug tracker, it will be fantastic!

And what about Forum Change-log?

There are literally hundreds of small changes to the forum as it's developed and it wouldn't be much of an 'interesting' changelog, but as for features yes they will be announced, for example blogs. BugTracker will also be integrated into the website and forum, current BugTracker, with its design and more importantly functionality, is not desirable so it will be updated also. Armory will be worked on after BugTracker.

At the moment you must use the link forum.warmane.com/search.php?do=getnew.

If I could ask for a better font, like Arial or something it would be better. I don't know, but this bold one messes with me up a lil.

Id like an option to use the old forum also because its new doesn't make it better as some think and if we like the old version what is wrong with that???

Everyone has its own likes and dislikes. And I dont like it. Old forum was way better, things more organised, viewing was pure as ****.

So yea, U aint tell me what to do brokeboi. Facedown, OTF GBE.

It's a work in progress. The plan is to have it integrated into the forum as well.

The new forum update is neat, but shouldn't there be an optional way to have a pre uploaded image as avatar from another uploading website like before? aside from only 97kb uploadable right now or is it there and i simply can't find it coz of the new design. o,o The 97 kb limit well sheeet i just can't find an avatar of my choice to fit it...

If the image is reduced and well compressed you should have no problem (either .png or .jpg).
Remember that the maximum size of 150x200 , so you should reduce it to that size before uploading it.

I am really missing features like latest staff post. + the new design looks akwardly much like the old. Same goes up for the website.

Have to say it has improved though with the tidyness (abstract lines etc.)

I don't think we will bring the 1.0 option back, even though we all like it very much. We want to put everything from Molten behind and look forward to Warmane, now.
These new forums are still under work, most if not all features from 1.0 will be implemented + we have plans for new features.
And this design will also be updated, as announced before.

Just to state.... I do not like forum 1.0....... I preferred forum 2.0 (if it was called that... the forum we had pre-moltdown)
About looking forward to warmane now, I agree on that. But: forcing a not 100% functional forum to be used just because it was from molten... I disagree with that. When I am logged out, I click on reply with quote, it sends me to login page, I login and I have to log in again, it won't redirect me here anymore, having me to search again. The forum is just plain not done yet. do not release something when it is not an upgrade, but a downgrade (eeehh I remember cata 4.3.4)

About the design:
"Forum updated has been released. Forum has been designed to be seamless and consistent with Warmane website and updated with new features to be announced in upcoming days. We expect to release further forum design and feature improvements in near future as well as launching a new BugTracker integrated into the forum."

Right.... the design will be updated, but not re-done. So it will stay like this mostly. If you so wish to be Warmane, and not molten or AT, then why do you keep sticking around with the old graphic overall look?

Those features I am missing surely will come, but there was no reason in the first place to miss them.
