HELL YEAH BUDDY! Stick it to those elitist scumlords!
This game has always been about standing around in top tier gear making all the nabs jelly. /s
Yeah i guess you said against me but people won't really clear all the content as it is released.. I was more refering to ICC only but i formulated myself wrong so... To be honest a lot of people care about the realm first race and raid competitive (that it should be equal) but whatever we have diff opinions... This fair discussion is not what i had in mind... It was more like those who farmed the items are those who should get them (let the RNG decide when) rather then paying to get the item... That was the thing i wanted to move forward with but i expressed it in a bad way. Although due to how the item restrictions are gonna work they need to actually obtain the gear to donate something equal so that kinda eliminates that out of the picture since they actually gotta farm as well to actually donate items. Well i guess the staff should do what finances the costs of the maintaining of the company since i don't know much about that stuff but hopefully with the least negative responses from the community standpoint.
TLDR; Those who raid should get raiding gear, those who don't raid should not have raiding gear but i realized this is impossible when Warmane's income is from donations to buy items off the store.
In the end we know whatever can be bought will be pricey, pricey enough hopefully in the majorities favor. Also items simply cant be bought on impulse..for the most part some sorta farming needs doing to even be allowed...
I honestly think the evil P2w dilemma may of met its match - as well as it can knowing what the blatant alternative has always been. We truly wont know till we test it and very soon we will.
sidenote> look at the sh*t thread for marketplace change. 'When are we getting our catalog of free gear back? How fast can we earn points You said 24hrs its been 2 weeks we demand our free gear'...
pretty sad reading :) but drives home the point why Lord will have no voter gear. Godbless the unspoiled of Azeroth.
So Atleast we only have to watch how this meek new P2W schematic fairs in the realm...weve already won any concerns of free gear pollution...
Things could be much worse peoples

Deathbringer's WILL!!! <3333
tbh I think they should disable the marketplace for Lordaeron entirely. Also as long as there isn't any pay for gold stuff. It will cause inflation and then the whole auction house will be screwed.
I don't really see why some people are so worried about inflation.
As long as it's at a standard rate with all items, then there's no big difference.
It would just mean the value of quests and the value of vendor items is less.
Inflation can be caused only if there will be gold for coins in marketplace, or BoE items.
People will just buy a lot of gold for cash (there are people who doesnt care about cash, they can afford it even if new coin prices will be higher), then craft items from profession or use Buy for less / sell for more tactic and then flood auction house with those items for unreasonable prices. It will be like hostile takeover. Those players will set some kind of price floor for particular items for the whole future, always buy out auctions with lesser prices then yours and sell them for more and the whole economy will be screwed like on other realms. It will be only possible with gold for coins trade, otherwise I doubt someone will have that much gold and will to risk to make this happen.
I'm splitting your sentences, to answer individually. Please do not see this as me targeting you or anything, just answering to the argument(s) used.
As I know for whole duration of warmane, there has not been an option to receive gold from the shop.
Point shop is disabled for Lordaeron (BTW point shop will for the forseeable future not have BOE items).
But as for BOE with coins (if available) and players able to use their coins to trade for others gold...
Well this is easy method to obtain gold, but you can only obtain what other's have. There's no gold being pumped in, it's only ingame gold being circulated and will eventually vanish by auction house tax / vendors if player does not increase his/her gold.
Supply & Demand, Greed, Patience and Logic.
These and probably others will make this strategy flawed.
Keep in mind this a game that can be played independant of others. You are not forced to buy any items. You don't need pay electricity, housing, water, food, petrol etc. If someone were to go with outrageous prices, you can just farm it yourself for yourself or join the competition (either way will decrease prices).
It is funny that you say "inflation can be casued only if...". In the real world inflation happens and there's no outside influence of the world's economy (conspiracy theorists may debate about aliens). So this is totally natural and expected to happen. If your income and expenses increases by 5%, the only efect on your lifestyle would be to use bigger math calculations for prices.
The only problem I see is the gold cap, this is a static amount and will eventualy cause that people will use items as a medium of trade instead of gold.
The items that are on the current tier will not be available in the shop by any means and this will remain as long as the realm is progressing through raids and content. Once all content is released and all raids are on farm, including heroic then that 'below 1 tier' rule on the shop can be removed.
I'm not sure why thought... What is the reasoning behind lifting the coin shop restriction just because the content is on farm for X guilds? Can you try to elaborate that? Still i'm happy the gear won't really affect the general progression of the content so i guess it won't really AFFECT those who are being competitive :)
I did not say 'on farm for X guilds'. I said simply 'on farm'. It means that the rule will be removed in very distant future, quite some time after ICC is released as well.
The rule is set in place so it doesn't bother with progression and overall state of raids and we are keen on creating an authentic experience for everyone playing the realm.
Well when i read ''on farm'' it means that plenty of people have farmed the content correct? It's easier to understand when i said X guilds cause you cannot do it alone (or you pug it which works also) :) But thanks for the answer :)
