Are pvp honor points going to be reset with prepatch or TBC launch?
During the TBC Classic launch and pre-patch, Grand Marshal/High Warlord gear could be purchased with gold from vendors. Will this be the same on Warmane?
via honor, not gold.
Will there be additional alliance bonus perks to make the faction more appealing if the faction imbalance gets too out of hand?
I'm sure this has been asked before but I don't see it in the FAQ - will the content be blizzlike or will there be buffs?
Really hoping for the latter :)
I saw on the PTR that dual-spec will be increased from 100 gold to 500 gold, is this correct? Also, the ground mounts will drop to 9 gold for a lvl 40 mount and 90 gold for a lvl 60 mount?
Any number will do because dual spec wasnt a thing prior to retail wotlk (1000g).
It is easily clearable without but having it will be a requirement for any PUG group, especially for high contested classes. For example, now I have to have LW on my warlock to be able to play the game. I don't need leatherworking, I am a new player and I don't have the gold to level it, eventhough I will have to do it. Yes, I am a casual player with 2 kids and can't commit to a guild, so enjoying the game will happen through PUGs.
I hope you change your decission regarding this. We don't need drums but it will be required, so you are making the decission for me to have to level a profession that is completely useless to me. Introducing the debuff will actually give me the opinion what professions to level.
Anyways, thank you for giving us the opportunity to play TBC again. Thank you for the dedication.
Best regards.
or on heroic dungeon requirements?
until a later stage, access to 5 player heroics should be limited to revered reputation and higher.
On PTR, it is currently on honored which reflects a later stage of progression
I think a lot of mechanics and interactions are still based on 3.3.5a patch on the PTR too (rogues having wotlk disarm trap ability for example) which is one thing to test one by one to eliminate all changes that should be made to reflect the 2.4.3 or 2.0 content patch and mechanics. However I am not sure when the last batch of fixes was applied to the test server, but identifying these things would probably be high priority.
I agree, but that's the same with world buffs. they are not needed but when available it will be sought after and minmaxxed to oblivion to clear content even faster. i do hope you guys will change your mind over this but if not it is what it is time to stack Drummers and parse bosses lol.
You dont need drums at all! Poping shaman's Bloodlust/Heroism at the right time is all you need!
I'm warlock and I'm not going lw. It would be a waste of profession slot for just non important 30sec buff, while I can have perma stats from example enchanting only stuff, jewelcrafting, etc...
