GENIUS!! i constantly get LoLed at for suggesting combat pvp and now this guide can be shoved into them haters faces. ofc the constant problem is UH DKs.... but come cata ;)
anyway im using assassinate pvp right now, waiting for myself and my friend (who understands theat EVERY tree of EVERY class has its uses in PvP) to get geared up, but i may still stick to assassinate until combat is fixed once and for all

Thanks for the support & I agree with you that every tree can be used in PvP depending on dedication, motivation & playstyle.

As for UH DKs, I have some tips on how to deal with them in the Guide.

Tips vs some problematic classes:
Unholy DK
Currently the most OP melee class is the Unholy DK, mainly because it's a melee class, but with a fighting style that fits more to a caster (apply 3 diseases, slowing enemy in the process, lock diseases, summon Gargoyle, which does nature damage, increased by one of the diseases etc). Thus alot of players are not kinda used to fighting an UDK. (was the same way back @ 3.2 when rets did 7k judgements, remember?)
Combat Rogues can beat an Unholy DK too: Garrote, trink Gnaw (it's the only stun a DK has, what else should you trink?), Expose Armor, BF + AP trink + KSpree, AR, KShot before he realizes what's happening, ghoul dies at this point, lifting a great load and reducing the chance he'll use Death Pact (DP is usable on Gargoyle or AoD ghouls too), he will most likely trinket KShot and activate IbF, Dismantle, AR + BF are still active - add up SnD & refresh Expose Armor, collect Honor/Arena Points

Frequently Ret@rded Arguments Given (aka FRAG ) regarding this fight:
1. he kait me, he haz slow - Blade Twisting, Imp Sprint, Imp DT, trink (last resort), glyphed CloS
2. he do physical & spell dmg @ d saem tiem - glyphed CloS again, Evasion
3. lol @ KSpree while bone shield is up - Bone Shield's ICD got fixed with the last update, it will only proc once for the whole KSpree
4. how do i interrupt IbF + AoD? - Imp + glyphed Gouge, lol... or Blind if you're that desperate

can u suggest a nice anti-stun trinket? im currently using my PvE trinks - needle encrusted scorpion and fury of the five flights - and im thinking of a battlemaster's trink as 1 for PvP. need another preferably with anti-stun.
also, wouldnt it be a little wiser to take the ArP from maces, since it helps against the plate? and DKs who remember (thank god there arent many SMART DKs) to switch to frost presence when they are gonna die?

Since H&S is kind of bugged & CQC is negated by Resilience, the most logical & common choice amongst Combat Rogues is Mace Specialization. So - yes!

You're funny,... I was a combat rogue on Molten before you even knew about this server. Also his spec is terrible (this is what evry combat rogue should use -> maces -> http://armory.molten-wow.com/calcula...00000000000000 ,, -> axes -> http://armory.molten-wow.com/calcula...00000000000000)(and ofc, as combat you cannot use deadly throw macro, otherwise it makes "thorowing specialization useless -> normal throw delays "Deadly throw" and you can't interrupt your enemy in time). Btw, I'm 2.4k rated and there's not many platers, so, stay small kid.

Combat rogues will never be a good PvP spec. This was proven by many good players who attended world's biggest PvP tournaments.

I've spent 100,000's of gold on respecs and regemming and at least 5 different variations of combat specs at some point and I can confidently say that combat spec is much worse in comparison to other alternatives. :(
