I'd like to personally thank EVERYONE who has shown up to both events, and I apologise for not having shown up for its intended time.
I'd imagined this day to be a little different, but it's been an incredibly fun and..interesting day for sure. With the amount of people I've seen showing up just proves this community is either really solid, or really greedy. But I'm betting it's a healthy mix of both. Thank you everyone.

It wasn't called off XD Just apparently lots of miscommunication and a lot of us were looking forward to it that we would stay or wake up in ungodly hours just for this. So pardon the frustration when you wake up at 3:30 AM in giddy excitement for the event only to find out after waiting in Goldshire with so many people harassing you in an attempt to have your toon crash to eliminate competition that there was really some major errors in scheduling. I'm keeping my cool with this but really we don't need comments telling us we don't know how to read let alone tell time correctly.

Can't blame em since it really was such an exciting event for many. Hell I'm normally more composed than this but right now I am so damn catty I just want to scratch someones face off, good thing nobody around me is awake for this. Wouldn't go so far as swearing at the event organizer but you know what the head ache of dealing with all the tards that filled up my ignore list from waiting at Goldshire is just not how I want to start out my Sunday morning. Frankly any follow up event would never compensate for this that I don't think holding another event would really make up for it, damage has been done. Just let the topic die because there is no way you can make up to the attendees at least let the bad blood just be buried over time.

Dammm it she was warning up on global and /y in elwyn florest that event was going to be at 20.00pm her time 6pm realm time!
i was there when it started, also was like 40+ ppl!
She gaved summ stuff out and them ppl started desrespecting her totally and spaming the crap out of everything!

She made a mistake! OK we got it! Now leave her alone! She gaved stuff alway b4 dcing!

Molten community *****ing about everything!

I never used ignore list until today :/ And Im playing for 2 years on Molten xD

The worst one was SpSOMETHINGdecided or something. That spammed "You are AFK, to prove that youre not type /afk" macro.

I don't see why you think people made a mistake because we clearly know how to read, and in fact even a GM showed up to visit said event. So I'm pretty sure there was no mix up on the part of the attendees to arrive at the designated time that you couldn't possibly misread on the opening post. Also just going to point out the obvious that 20:00 is not 18:00 so again no mix up there so frankly speaking this is a double whammy.

I would also like to add that after a bit of back and forth communication with Proterean(GM), he kindly offered to attend the event to both participate and keep potential trolls in check- which I couldn't refuse, and can't thank him enough for. It is indeed a shame I've missed this...


I MAY host a giveaway some time in the future that I will actually attend at the designated time.. But this will depend on circumstances so I will not guarantee Anything right now.

Edit: @ Tarkh; He has ALL the right to be mad. This has indeed been a very stupid mistake and may potentially have angered many people due to timezones.. Damage has been done, like he said, but on the other hand may the ones who won a prize anyway, enjoy them.

We're aware she was going to spam it in global again it was stated in the opening post. But keep in mind as I've said we did go around scheduling our times so that its not as if we were going to be online 2 or more hours earlier so don't go thinking as if we didn't follow instructions correctly.

All I can say is you know full well you got lucky with your timing, unless somehow you read what she stated on the opening post and magically auto corrected it to be there at the exact time. So please don't go telling us that the community whines about everything when many of us did our best to comply properly and be respectful of the event, I don't feel there is any disrespect whatsoever when many of us did our best to attend. Would also like to point out the GM was there to help with the event had it been done at the designated time so that would have minimized the experience you noted but again GM was just following what was written so damage couldn't be mitigated.
