Goodie bags are available! What did you get?

The more recent clarification thread is more relevant though, since the point of that thread was to inform what was going to be in those bags and when. Edifice also linked it. You can complain and argue about the subject until the end of time, but that won't change what is in them. The content of these bags are free, for everyone. Going on about it won't accomplish anything at all. Though, for the record, there is a chance to get companions or mounts from them. :)

We know the feedback has been largely negative, and while that's unfortunate, we still heed it. We get the point. Thank you for your time.

Edit: I've had a discussion with other moderators and we've come to the decision that the thread will remain open, but we would appreciate that the thread be used for its intended purpose. Complaints are going to happen, sure, but keep it about the goodie bags and the contents of them, rather than trying to pick fights with staff members.

Well then let me give you my "2 cents'' as to why i think the feedback is bad.People remember those days when the thing happened, there were promises hype for goodie bags hyped by you because at that time no one knew what was the future of Molten.And the goodie bags,at first they were hyped (no one expected a Shadowmourne of) but still getting something that does not work on mop or cata, or getting something that you can sell for 1k gold (wotlk) at best or a tabard you already had it kinda sucks.Sadly it is a lottery either you get the good stuff in goodie bags or you just get something almost useless.
And also i don't pick fights i just corrected the guy.Picking fights ? Please.. :D Overall 3/10 for goodie bags, thanks for your time.

Gifts? i dont think so, unless you mean the booster packs

But in all honesty, nobody expected BiS items from the goodie bags, that would be silly
But they were long announced as tokens of appreciation for loyalty bla bla bla bla, but in the end, only a few get the "appreciation", while you guys form the staff have said before that "all the community members are equal", but with this "lottery" it doesnt look like it

Oh, and btw, a couple randomized -cool- mounts are not really useful either (you guys make it look like a mount gives you "da l33t deepz"), but at least they can look cool, not like a couple ore bars or such

Dear Edifice,
I have one suggestion for goodies bags.
One per account i think it's not enough so it will be good if people could spent vote points for more goodies bags .
For example 1: Each bag could cost 50 VP
otherwise other way one per week (without coins or items that exist in marketplace so people can donate as always).

Also any chance to update marketplace with more items ? (More items = more donations)
No need to be higher ilvl gear but fancy items like new mounts , companions etc ( With new coins or by trade and not by refunded coins)

To OP: Got 3x Moonshroud, 1.5k Gold, 25 VP, Epic Purple Shirt and Tabards. Didn't get coins, mounts or companions but that just my bad luck. The Tabards and Epic Purple Shirt were cool, much appreciated. Liked the the randomness of the goodies bag, brought back memories of opening a pack of trading cards.

Reading this i think i got really nice stuffs.On one account i got 10 coins and epic purple shirt and on second i got 5 coins and murlock costume.I bought 2 items on trade for my alt and crimson deathcharger reins.Tnx. warmane it was really nice surprise.

Because its a rare TCG item which isn't available to get in-game and maybe not even on the donation shop. Anyways next step is to just report the bug to the bugtracker.

Tabard of the Defender, could have been worse. IMO, there should be something like mount/pet in each, even if its a really common mount, such as racial one. Random ores or cloths wouldn't make anyone exclaim: "oh, goodie, me a jolly happy lass!" Making this random is a bad idea, because all players should be rewarded equally, even if its a tabard. And I don't think Warmane would lose any profit if all goodie bags contained mounts and pets from vote shop, if not coin shop, because most of the donations come for the gear anyway. Cheers!
