Topic of the thread is based on the lore; not ingame statistic which are meant to be balanced an not accurate or representing a roleplay/lore setting. Its somewhat unrealistic to believe the common gnome would be able to duelwield 2 giant axes.
Based on the lore, which is the title of this thread, and I've said it 3 times in this thread, are Orcs. They have a feral demon form, even outside of a bloodlust or demon blood. This is why they were chosen by Sargeras opposed to the other races of Draenor. Orges were his first choice I believe because they were strong and dumb, however they were dumb and once corrupted still dumb. So he chose Orcs over the other inhabits because of their feral beast mode. They are physically the strongest playable races based on the lore. The humans would have been annihilated along with the dwarves who locked themselves in Ironforge when the Orcs first arrived. You must research the lore more. The Alliance, wasn't even formed when the Orcs first came, and they slaughter the entire city of Stormwind. It was not until the Alliance grasped the Holy light and The Order of The Silverhand was formed did they defeat the Orcs a single time. Now, tell me is that proof that dwarves can stand toe to toe with orcs? No. Maybe a special dwarf but the common soldier is going to get stomped by the common orc.
That you must understand its never portrayed that way. Most people use some sort of amplifier (magic or the holy light,potions, ext) those who don't and are just truely badass see few and far between.
Technically the only playable race that could overpower an orc isn't even a race, its druids with their animal forms. Of course among the more savage races like trolls, orges, tauren, and even dwarves & draeni you are going to find your better fighter those few who are capable of handling an enraged orc.Edited: November 17, 2015 Reason: the orcs even knocked on ironforges door and no one answered lol

The story of a hero doesn't matter. Varian killed alot of orcs and ogres when he was gladiator.
And the orcs doesn't get victories for their brute strenght, they do for the fel powers. And they had the help of ogre armies, trolls, goblins, dragons and... The human realm of Alterac! (Yes, they accepted the human realm of alterac as allies, lol).
Dwarves clans were separated. If they were united, they would crush the orc trash with their powerful warriors and war machines.
Worgens use weapons, unlike the wolf of your video.
Even with the burning legion powers, orcs fail in Azeroth, and the alliance almost exterminated them during the second war.
Orc, before the blood lust, was the last sh*t in Draenor, every race dominated them.
A corrupted Eredar is more powerful in all aspects than a fel orc. By the logic, a Draenei is more powerful than a Magar orc.
And for the last: You don't answer me when I told you that worgens beat the orc armies+Magnataurs and protodrakes in Wolfheart.Edited: November 17, 2015

The OP asked for the race.with the most physical strength.
Physical strength has hardly anything to do with who would win in a fight because in a fight its not only the brute power that matters but also the fighting skills and the equipment.
A Strongman is physical stronger than a master of Martial Arts but he would probably still lose in a 1vs1 battle.
Its obvious that a Tauren is physical stronger than the other playable races. It doesn't mean that the Tauren would necessarily win a fight.Edited: November 18, 2015

As the Op said, the physical strongest playable races are Taurens and dwarves, and it's reflected in the game. Game statistics are based on the lore and I don't understand why some people reject it. Some people insist that the orcs are the strongest, but nowhere say that they are the strongest, and I'm only talking now about physical strenght, because if we talk about the powerful armies, taurens are the strongest race, but they have a weak army and centaur almost exterminate them.
Orcs were a powerful army because the fel powers from the burning legion, that made them able even to beat the ogres (Who are much physical stronger) in draenor: They won for the number, marcial and magic powers, not for the strenght!
And for the orc's fans: They aren't the physical strongest race (And actually they aren't even a strong army), if you want not accept it, you will deceive yourselves.Edited: November 17, 2015

Phyaically strongest are obviously the Tauren. In WC3 these guys carries and swings massive tree logs (or totems) to murder their enemies.
Physically strongest race by appearance (Male perspective):
1. Tauren
2. Orc
3. Dwarf
4. Night Elf
5. Human
6. Troll
7. Undead
8. Gnome

Trolls tower over humans and nighteleves. Before the Orcs came the Humans and Trolls had constant warfare among each other, they aren't weaker than humans.

I repeat, the most physically strongest.
Trolls has much less body mass and muscles then Nelfs, humans however comes to a close tie. It's basically about who could lift the heaviest rock, or beat the other in a fist fight, unless I missunderstood the thread

Tauren>Draenei>Orc probably if we talk about raw strength
Best 1vs1 bare hands probably nothing comes even close to the Orcs with their size+explosiveness+fighting experience from their lifestyle+the insane stamina you get from fightning all the time.Orcs are literally the ultimate fighters.

Orcs : Broxigar the Red, Grommash Hellscream, Orgrim Doomhammer
Human : Anduin Lothar, the Lion of Azeroth
Tauren : Cairne Bloodhoof
Dwarf : Muradin Bronzebeard
but the race with most Physical strength most likely a Tauren due to their built, theyre simply not a war happy race
