Exactly. I'd ask people to stop with the gay marriage discussion and just concentrate on the confessions part. I know I'm also ****posting here with my Socrates and other irrelevant stuff, but stop taking it completely off-topic, even though it's in the Spam section. You can always give gay marriage discussion it's own thread.

I don't understand people who say homosexual couples shouldn't be able to adopt.

What children need most (besides basic food, shelter, etc) is a healthy dose of love from their guardians. Gay and lesbian couples are capable of just as much attention and care as heterosexual couples. A baby just needs parents who love each other and parents who love him - their gender is trivial, especially to someone uncorrupted by standard social values.

And have you seen some of the biological parents out there? So many kids have terrible parents, or just one parent, because of a random accident of nature. At least adoption has a screening process.

The main issue is not the parents themselves. If anything, most serious gay couples are capable of giving much more love than your average "serious" man and wife.
The main problem is the society that we live in. Imagine the life of a 10 years old somewhere in the suburbs, going at school like everyone....... but he has 2 dads. He;s in for some serious bullying. Later in high school too.

Threads aren't supposed to hit high page counts, they're supposed to let people discuss things. When you're done talking, you're done with it. If you want to change the topic, you make a new thread.
