thata is such a silly thing to say, They can just add on their store on the site better items , that you can get for enourmous amount of gold like icc normal for 100k , that would def keep the economy in check rather than mock the time and efort of the people, this is why i dont normaly play on private servers, all they do is to make people buy coin wich they can use to buy gold or whateverer, warmane response to blizzard wow token, playing classic is the best atm

Donating is mandatory to keep the server alive and pay the staff expenses, if you dont like the way it is, go somewhere else instead of spitting an absolutely stupid comment

This is how I read and analyze everything that is written here regarding the effects of gold inflation on the server, and I have come to several conclusions. But first the facts.

1. the growth of gold is greater than its utilization which causes inflation - True.
2. inflation raises prices on the AH - True, although items with greater supply than demand will stay low due to the fact that sellers will have to set competitive prices.

Now to the point. Let's consider whether the high prices on the AH make the game more difficult for new players. Doing quests and grind gold they will not be able to buy anything on AH is a fact. However, I know that the entire game can be completed without buying on AH. First of all, most of the items you need are soulbound. What you need to buy and can not get yourself simply comes from the professions. Each character can have two professions. Each profession to produce something is based on one profession of collecting. For example, on our first character we chose blacksmithing, so we also need mining. At level 55 we have the opportunity to create a DK, if we give him herbalism and skinning we have all 3 professions of gathering. Now that we have the ability to collect all the mats, we can make a deal with friends in the guild who have other professions to produce something for us for the cost of materials. This way we can have everything best in slot without buying a single thing on AH. If someone has the desire and more time he can even make himself enough alts on one account to have all the professions. But...

But no one is forbidding us to sell at the auction house, and since prices are high, all it takes is a bit of grinning and if we sell something we can afford skils, mounts, ridding and other things whose prices are constant and would be out of our reach if there was no inflation. The only bad thing that hinders the game for new players is the above-mentioned procedures of cutting gold for quests or the chance to drop, because it takes longer to farm.

You are mostly correct, but you ignore the fact that some end game raids drop BoE gear that is often sold on the AH. This gear can greatly increase the speed at which a new player can access end game content. The gold inflation is such that at some point those BoE would be impractical to invest in for new characters and lead to extra grinds that is avoidable. As a side note, with x7 xp you can easily get enough gold from questing to get your fast flying mount and the Northrend flying, as well as a couple of those end game BoE from the AH.

Well, yes there are BoE items that make it easier for gold-rich players to dress their characters. However, they are not best in slot, or at least none that I can think of, which means they can be skipped. However, if you don't want to do it, you also have a chance to find them yourself, although it's better to try with your guild. And such pre bis items, even with low inflation, are expensive and unaffordable for the average player, and to afford them you need to spend some time collecting gold. Still, at high inflation it's not impossible to buy them if you regularly list and sell various items, and prices as we know are high, I think you'll eventually collect enough cash. But yes you are right, collecting will take longer because gold from q and pure grind will hardly contribute to collecting the amount.
