You can get a decent laptop with 760M, i7, 8gb,ssd... for less than 1k$

I didn't buy it, and my parents don't have the money for that.

I appreciate it more than you do--a lot more than you do, apparently--because my old computer ran WoW at the lowest graphics with ~15 fps.

Funny enough, I worked 2 years to buy my current setup.
I' just saying its better bang for your $ (though laptops are just piece of overpriced ....)

My old PC ran wow at <8 fps in ICC 10 raids at lowest possible settings and resolution (800x600 [not lowest though] so beat that ^^)

Laptops such as that, to my opinion, are waste of money.
But yes I understand where you're coming from. [Been there, done that]

I said less than 8, I played with 1-3 fps during fights, it was a real slideshow, was in top 3 always though as a balance druid xD

My laptop's GPU has malfunctioned a while ago due to bad drivers, now I'm forced to work with integrated.
Never ****ing again.

I had 1 FPS on Sha of Pride (4th boss in SOO) 2 months ago (hence me buying a new computer) my FPS couldn't keep up with my GCDs..
