Lol...
Luckily, I only get to level at late night/early morning so ganking/wPvP wouldn't be much of an issue for me. If people can't do the same for whatever reason they should either postpone questing in Outland (specifically HFP) for a few days, or resort to dungeons instead (entrance of said dungeons will be heavily camped I suppose). Otherwise they're pretty much ****ed.
On retail PVP servers, whenever a new expansion is released and members of both factions are crowding starting areas, what I observed often happening was a tacit agreement to a ceasefire between the Horde and Alliance so players could focus on questing instead. Obviously there were those guys who did their best to break fights out between the factions, but for the most part it honestly didn't go as bad as some of the people in here are making it seem. Even if gankers make questing impossible, dungeons are a plenty viable alternative, as you mentioned.
In the event that worst comes to worst, and Hellfire Peninsula ends up becoming a giant red battlezone full of thousands of Horde and Alliance players who want nothing less than to lay waste to the other faction, it'll end up being pretty damn awesome anyways. Frustratingly so, perhaps. But an all-out battle on that kind of scale will be memorable and epic whether you want to admit that or not.
Overall, I have to agree that restricting flying to 70 is one of those decisions that, whilst unpopular among the masses, is what best serves the interests of Lordaeron.
Great.
I will be doing this everyday until wotlk release. Hopefully make some players quit lol.
Gonna be lot of fun slaying those noobs on the ground who have a life and want to play on this server lol.
I will make sure that will be the only epic nostalgia tbc memory they will have lol. Waiting with res sickness and crying on forums lol.
I hope malaco will be streaming lol. Camping him 24/7 in front of 100 people lol.

Cant you just disable a flying for month instead of lvl 70 req? It will prevent camping quests zone.
Do you even hat one single thought about your Suggestion whatsoever?
I just give you one example: Tempest Keep *hint hint*
Since the lack of CTA for last weeks, there is a big difference between players..ofc it doesnt count but spawn time sux, more than 1k players in just 1 or 2 zones..will be painfull. world pvp is fun..but when you are ganked 30 mins in a row..is not that fun. I personally disagree with this proposal
ps: with fly disabled till 70,players that got a life/job will be disadvantaged in a big way

They'll be disadvantaged exactly as they will be when Northrend is out. Which is, to say, they'll pull through.
Hmpf. If we're not gonna fly until 70 because "the TBC experience", There better actually be a TBC experience. No repeat of Scholomance or Ahn'Qiraj where half the instance doesn't work correctly and is only marked as "works" because you can nuke the final boss before he bugs out. I don't want see a horrific bug in TBC justified by "this is a WOTLK realm, this bug doesn't matter". If we're gonna do that song and dance again, then there's no point in making any edits to the game in the name of "the TBC experience".
