Nah. This is a PRIVATE server. People came to play here because they liked the expansion in the first place. The lack of updates/bug fixes is the main reason why people is leaving.

Population dropped due to lack of attention from developers and that is the only reason. I was afraid of that outcome, but now it`s definately too late to safe cata on warmane.

Updates wont change a **** and aint even worth the resources. The whole population is Tdot & friends vs Tdot haters, this guy keeps whats left of the players.

You dude have some serious issues.
Cata still provides 80+% of Warmane's donations. People donate for Cataclysm mostly, not WoTLK nor MoP.
WoTLK is just draining their resources, yet they wanted to make x1 WoTLK realm to make Warmane famous... yet **** income from it.
From this picture, right here, we can see that Cata is having almost same population as WotLK, even tho it was given not even an half of developper's attention which they gave on WotLK.

The only possible way to "resurrect" cata is to make a timer for the server to start from 0 like few months or soo, during that period fix as many bugs as possible and reopen as new fresh realm soo it would attract more people, couse of hype... But yeah thats like saying penguins can fly.. And this whole discussion on this thread is useless they ignore cata, dont even look back choose other servers or expansions it is dead already. Stop wasting time and making yourself and others angry.

only possible way to get cata back to how it was is close mop and start cata hype like they did for Lordaeron while making mop devs give up on trying to fix something that'll never be fixed properly and work on cata

As I see it, Cataclysm used to be the newest expansion until MOP was released on Molten. Players that were playing Cataclysm solely because they wanted to play the newest expansion left and started on MOP servers. If WoD should be released at some point in the future, the same that happened to cataclysm will happen to MOP. It will slowly lose half its players and only those that play the expansion because they prefer it over any other will remain.

Lordearon kinda added to this effect as it basically further sucked out players from Cata/Mop. So i don't think it was mainly the lack of attention that brought us to where we stand now (although it contributed to Cata's downfall).
