I've been doing really well in ranked lately -- Have about an 85% win rate over the last week, but today I queued into the most toxic player I think I've ever ran into in Ranked. Just a complete, all around *******. We actually ended up having a Riot employee joining our post-game lobby (didn't even know that was possible) informing us that they had taken action against him.

Tons of features got added while adressing balancing issues and general feedback that the players had.

Couldn't this have been done in just patches? How is it a great expansion for things that should be done in patches?

The removal of the auction house and trading has really made the game better -- it's just harder to reach end-game, which is nice. When D3 first launched, people were efficiently solo farming mp10 within two or three days. Nothing like that has happened on RoS, except through exploits that have already been patched. The only way to really farm T6 right now is to do some of the easier runs with minimal elites, and you have to have at least 1 monk and 1 wizard in order to kill everything quickly with EPs.

I don't know if you played the game at launch or not, but there was no monster power levels. There was only the stupidly hard Inferno difficulty. Silly.

I would prefer going back to the old days where blizzard would produce a well thought through product before they try to grab some cash with a quick release. Warcraft 3 is the best example of a well done expansion. Tons of features got added while adressing balancing issues and general feedback that the players had.

The only game that I'm fully satisfied with is Heartstone. It might have a few issues, but it's a well made game, no doubt about that.


Honestly, it's probably just a matter of time. They are getting pretty much carried away with thier cash grabs (instant lvl 90 pre-expansion release?), RTS games in episodes with and RPG game that still has a feature missing since closed beta.

Blizzard has started going down hill with thier buisness decisions, which is sad to see because it used to be one of the best gaming companies.

A lot of it was (see: patch 2.0). However, there are things that only makes sense be made available only through the expansion. Ex.: Adventure Mode.

Whatevs, my point remains the same. End-game content is actually starting to slightly feel like end-game content.
