I would not be against that :) I will be taking a month off after this weekend so I am out there with my newest creation "Ad" to get that last set of reins.
TLPD was just downed about 40 mins ago, not with my help but at one of the spawn spots I listed. Of course, I was there moments after it spawned, but I didn't feel compelled to steal the kill from another player.
The trend seems to be Bors Falls lately. Seems like that is the only place Vyra or TLPD want to spawn.
And people asking me for 4K gold so they can train and use the mount seems to be the other trend I have noticed. It's like I just gave you the keys to a brand new Porshe and you in turn ask me to pay for your insurance and give you gas money...not very classy.

Aww a month off? We'd miss you. And yeah, if you saw the spawn list, you wouldn't be surprised at why it's likely to spawn at bor's falls. Although my tlpd was not at bor's.

The funniest thing today, is there were only a few spawns. There were people 4-5 deep literally stacked on each other.
I help both factions and my parting words to everyone I help is to be polite. If you spit on a fellow camper of the opposing faction, then you're gonna get ganked at your moment of weakness.
Moment of weakness = when TLPD spawns and you get tunnel vision and must kill him. You are vulnerable and won't take your eyes off TLPD to kill that other player that is about to kill you.
Always remember, when someone else gets the reins, that is one less camper to compete with :D

Maybe it will become a sticky.
Well, on my quest for the 4th and final set of reins, I downed TLPD 30 minutes ago only to have him give me the proverbial middle finger and fall deep within the ice at Bor's Waterfall, making himself unlootable. Tried relogging, etc, but his corpse couldn't be clicked.
Over the last 2 days there have been 4 TLPDs and 18 Vyragosas. I got screen caps of all but one that someone skinned too quickly.

Well, since you feel I am exploiting, I'll let this thread finally die. Once sufficiently dead, I'll post a thorough walkthrough with all my tips, tricks and strategies. I'll verify the info on Greymane as well for my followers there.
12/14 successful new TLPD riders in the last 9 days.
16 spawn points with numerous screen shots showing either Vyragosa or TLPD in each shot.
Highest gold offer for a successful kill: 50K gold. And I refused to help him. I am not here for your amusement so you can flaunt your new ride in Ogrimmar/Stormwind. Gold does not motivate me.
What do I charge for this info...nothing! Never have, never will.
When will I stop hunting? When I pay back a lonely traveler who showed me kindness in my moment of need.

Do you think you're playing retail? This is a private server, everything is different. Period.
In no way, shape, or form do I see flying around stormpeaks for hours and days searching for tlpd, finding it at one of its natural spawn points, and killing it for reins = exploiting.
If you would like to tell Molten their choice of spawn points was stupid, be my guest.
I certainly hope extremelyg makes a guide on TLPD, his knowledge of all the spawn points and countless weeks spent sitting in storm peaks should certainly earn him a sticky, he knows everything there is to know. Go extremelyg!

Ok cool, if you're the expert on frostwolf that's awesome.
However, Deepholm and Greymane servers run a whole different expansion, everything has been changed, and now the tlpd strategy must be tackled differently.
If molten wants to change their chosen spawn points, I'm sure they will do so in the future. But for now, it is what it is.

Well, your wrong.
I was on sarg and i can tell you for a absolute FACT that they did not spawn in their known retail locations.
I even posted a picture in this thread where he spawned in one of molten's TLPD locations
