1. Easy there, mmisams. I already explained it all. See above.

And add some paragraphs or something like that to that wall of text.

Done. And sorry about that. I don't really normally come on forums this often. Waiting for new pc parts to arrive and becoming annoyed by the number of rogue fixes lately.
Well I mostly hope this guide to contribute somewhat to that. Maybe if more people learn this and do something more outstanding it will be dealt with sooner. Too bad that just reading this will only get a combat rogue on par with good dks and warrs. And combat SHOULD be the worst raid dps rogue spec.

  3. Well, I have intentionally created a Bug section at the bottom of my guide with this exact idea. The more views this Guide gets and the sooner Natox includes it in the other Guides, the more the chance that our work will have an impact.

It's a theory taralej but I think they don't want to make this thread a sticky because it's based on exploiting all the bugs rogues have atm. :D

how sad, changes passed and no fix for us. :/
I don't mind being on top of dps, but it's so crappy when you do it cuz of bugs and not your personal skill. :(

  6. Indeed, Rogues and Priests didn't receive a single freaking fix - neither beneficial nor bad. I guess Molten's happy with us topping the meters the way we do right now.

Oh well, at least they fixed summoning stones and Warlocks' Drain Life being unable to crit. I kinda abandoned Combat and my Rogue in general since the gameplay experience I'm getting with it is kinda unreal.

Example given: porcelain crab dropped from ToT Hc. I asked if anyone needed it and got it. +10% DPS increase compared to the Alchemy trink.

    lol.

  7. ahah porcelain crab is nothing. get a Symbiotic Worm and once you get to 35% in pvp. everything dies.

    little bit on topic:
first thing (minor): at least on everything i tested 24 expertise covers the exp cap somehow. I still to see a dodge or parry at 23 too though.
and i don't know if it has to do something with update:
check hit rate and miss rate on screenshot. thats in bwd

  8. Is there actually an offensive trinket, which procs or activates mastery?

Your misses are most disturbing having in mind your hit rating X_x What the **** is wrong with Molten tables, really?

About the bug fixing taralej I spoke to Natox over several pms and he said that the most chance to get bug fixing devs attention is to vote up the bug reports, so you should make a thread on this forum listing the highest voted of the bug reports and ask all the ppl here to help bump them(i will help you when i can to bump the thread). Gonna ask some of my friends to help bump them also, but we need alot of ppl.

  10. Well, if Deathwisher85 doesn't return and update his thread, we might just quote + copy it and open it anew.

  11. We really need to get this hit rating fix . I dont want to have like 13% hit and still miss sinister strikes and eviscerates -_-

That aside , I noticed something interesting . Since the mechanics of main gauche are similar to that of wild quiver (if anyone recollects the bug that affected us - +ve one XD)
The transition from 17-20 mastery yields those string of main gauche procs . As far as i recollected with my testing , my hunter had an increase of 1 -2 wq procs for every 1.5 mastery (chain). I couldnt completely test this 1.5 mastery / 1 proc in chain-gain theory but it would be helpful if some of you high mastery rogues check the numbers while you go from 17.5-22 mastery .

  12. I changed reforges/enchants from haste to mastery (didn't reforge haste to mastery, because i tried it and didn't really work well), i have 2.6 MH and 1.4 OH, hit and expertise cap. Today full vicious rogue without expertise cap and with bwd claws and full haste reforge/enchants did more dps then my rogue.

    So is mastery > haste?

One more thing, in raids my fps is +-10. Can that really lower my dps for +-5k? Maybe even more idk.
If it does, what do you think is better for low fps rogue mastery or haste?

p.s. My ilvl is 356 full pve (armory dont work :( )
Don't comment something like "oh you dont know rotation, need more skillz . . ." because I know what I'm doing and rotation is really repetitive and quite boring tbh :)

EDIT: About miss chance in BWD, maybe it bugs after Chimaeron slimes?

  13. 10 fps is fine, I've raided Naxxramas and ICC with 5.

    As tank.

  14. fps will have an impact since most skills give the user a visual feedback (ex: combo pts generated) . In an event that the fps gets lowered , it means you will receive the visual cues a little late so i would say it will have an impact .

If your pc is a little old , try adding in a new graphics card / ram to help in improving the performance. I get 60-120 fps in sw and 200 everywhere else

  15. ...or just reduce your graphics to the bare minimum, except spells, which should be at mid, so that you can see boss spells & mechanics (I've had bad experience in ICC because of this, sitting in invisible flames).

The resolution is of course the greatest determinant before details. 800x600 for a weak PC is fine.

Another thing you can do is free up as much memory as you can before playing. Shut down every little program you don't need, Daemon Tools etc, leaving only your anti-vir and your video card software. Usually, I even shut down explorer.exe (the Windows UI) and use a cdm DOS window to operate. This will ensure that you have the optimal RAM free for your WoW.

My old PC (2000, currently my brother's >:] ) is 512 sdram, 32mb vga & 900mhz cpu. 1fps in Dala, 5 on Marrowgar. I've finished NFS:MW on it many times, people still don't believe me.

    The "new" one (2008) is 2gb ddr2, 512mb nvidia 9800gtx+ & 3.1ghz 2core amd.
