Is call to arms ever going to be a thing?

Bumping this because it would be nice to see an official response of some kind.
I personally couldn't care less about it, especially now when TBC release right around the corner, but it does seem to matter to a significant amount of players.

Why was CTA Warsong enabled for like an hour on Sunday? Was this a mistake?
Were the crashes and instability on this day a result of attempted implementation, or something entirely different?
Is this feature supposed to be in the game at the moment or are we waiting until WotLK is released?

This has since been addressed in a server wide message, CtA will be disabled until WotLK release.
