I hate the Horde and I have never actually played a Horde character through. But if a game has different races....you just don't go Human. Unless if you do it because they have a perk that you want (such as the Every Man for Himself).

You're a human in real life (hopefully) so have some creativity and become a wisp that travels for a living and gives homeless people 50 cents so they can finally buy the alcohol they have been saving up for. And then steal their alcohol and smash it in their face because you happen to be a douche Wisp that wants to make people sad.

At the time I started playing, the only races that could be a Paladin were Dorfs and Humans. Dorfs do not appeal to me at all. If Blizzard would allow Night Elf Paladins, I would race change in a heart beat. Until then, I will remain Human. I am not going to play a stout DORF or a Slutenei. No thank you.
