Oh yeah this happened to me as well when I just started XD I did not understand the concept of what it meant to bind and believed the equipment to be permanent.
My secret was in retail i took over a account from a friend in the tbc days and it was a arms warrior, entered a dungeon and they asked me, are you tank or dps and i kinda choked, i also got kinda kicked :D
owned ! ! !
My biggest secret is that i started to use macro recently... And i was playing for five years. Still trying to understand how to make macro now :). At least i know how to set my hotkeys from the beggining :P
first time i was creating char (vanilla, when wow was released, retail) i just changed chars look, didnt even notice i can select other faction, race or class so i ended up with orc warr (and i can tell you i regret nothing!)
also i started lvling rogue after seeing world of roguecraft cuz i thought it was so cool
Just started playing wow on molten in the past 3 months. Quickly leveled a paladin tank up to level 85 and started doing rdf. Except I only used the dungeon finder to randomly join groups. Waits were so long!!!! And then one day (playing for like a month and got one character up to HC dungeon level) when I finally discovered global chat and was able to find groups to do rdf much easier. Yeah it took me a month to discover /join global.
^Said that like it's a big deal. You need fast reactions in PvP. You know when ****'s gonna come in PvE. Clicking in PvE is much more forgiving than doing it in PvP.
I though that 'armor' is the most important stat of all.
and those 'agility, intelligence' are some fancy additions (I though agility makes you walk faster) and not really important ( 1 agility? phew, I prefer 50 armor, it's 50 times better).
and of course I was wearing cloth as a hunter (intelligence? what does it? I guess something good, as long as it's some stat it must be useful, right?).
also I though the dungeon loot window works as a buff like: now you are blessed with the 'axe of the irondwarf '+ 10 strenght., so I didn't click need nor greed, but waited until it dissapears.
forgot about: my gnome girl warlock has a special 'macro':
/gloat
and /roar.
I know it's stupid.
but it's a warlock, how can a warlock on 'gloat over everyone's misfotune?'
So here's my big secret.
I play WOW for a year and a half. Got my 85lvl DK, doing really good. Have multiple PVP achievements, got some "respect" by other players etc. but I STILL CLICK AND BACKPEDAL. :D :(
Don't hate me xD
