settings resets or not saving properly

i have the wotlk game on my ssd c drive in the documents folder and sometimes for some reason it doesnt save my chat settings and i have to rejoin global again, anyone had this happening? folder is readonly (turns itself read only) but files inside arent (the settings files)

If the folder turns itself read-only it's probably because you still have wow in your bittorrent client. You should delete it from the transfer list and then unmark the entire folder, subfolder and files as read-only.
