1. The growing issue of "multiboxers"

Playing in BG's has me starting to notice that it's become saturated with multiboxers. I can't bring myself to believe that this is how BG's should be played. You can use the argument that we must allow it because blizz allowed it, but keep in mind blizz only allows this because there is a monetary incentive to allow it, they get $15x(number of accounts) for every box. However this is not the case in private servers. There is literally ZERO incentive to keep allowing this to happen.

There are a number of reasons that this is hurting the realm more than benefiting:
1.) It takes up BG spots, and that means it prevents other people from gearing up/having fun in BG's.
2.) How is this supposed to bring "skill" or "challenge" to have someone running around with 5+ characters on /follow doing the exact same thing as one another? It's not like you can even survive vs. them. It ruins the entire dynamic of the BG and results with just ONE person having all the fun.
3.) BG's should not be this easily carried by a single person, if retail was F2P then this would would be dealt with immediately.
4.) Low realm population has you against multiboxers SEVERAL times in a row and the only relief is when they go offline or stop queuing. This effect is amplified at night when the numbers are even lower.
    5.) etc.....

The only way I can see multiboxing "help" the server is:
1.) Potential donations(?) I've personally never seen a multiboxer donate EVER; let alone on all accounts.

If you weigh the pros and the cons, it doesn't take a genius to come to the conclusion that multiboxing serves only as a detriment to the PvP environment. At the very least, meet us half-way and ban this behavior from BG's, but allow it in world PvP. I mean ffs if AT banned triple DPS in threes, then why is something like multiboxing, of all things, allowed to continue?

I would love to hear other people's opinions on the issue, remember to keep the discussion civil and respectful.

  2. Me, personally, I don't mind them at all. Most of them are in full starter gear and easily dealt with, even 1v5. (Run in, divine storm, spawn 150 tentacles, win in bubble :D)

As for BGS they might take up spots, but then again, looking at it from a different perspective, they also fill spots making queues pop faster. For the gearing up bit people normally complain about people gearing up in BG's anyway, even though that's what they're for.

Multiboxing isn't about skill or being challenging at all, more for the fun of it. To be fair, taking down multiboxers in a group is fun in itself, so there's more pro's than there's con's, from my point of view anyway.

  3. taking down multiboxers in a group is fun in itself
    wow... just no. no.
nobody likes multiboxers. nobody. Retail had the Subscription excuse, but warmane does not.
Multiboxing needs to be gotten rid of.

Yes, that's nice when there's somebody that can actually do AOE damage and have a healer on him for ex. warriors and their bladestorm but if no healer warrior=dead. Now that's speaking when there is somebody that can do AOE damage (high AOE damage like 20-30k+) which doesn't always happen, also healers get destroyed by the multiboxer in 2-3 seconds. I have a hpala, rdudu, rshaman, dpriest and fact is you just can't survive long enough and if there isn't any warrior or like 10 rogues then you're pretty much fuc*ed.

  5. To bad multiboxing is legal here.

  6. To bad multiboxing is legal here.
Hopefully it's gonna be banned because warsong gulch or the battle for gilneas with 5 people zerging all over isn't that fun at all if not I would actually call it cheating because that way you are guaranteed to win and get honor a.k.a. the same thing hacks or bots do but those are illegal.

  7. Its not that they do more damage or anything, in all honestly you guys are *****ing about not being able to coordinate as a team in bg's. In the end it's still a 10v10. Just ,l2p, stop crying...

^ that. A multiboxers can do the exact same thing as a group of 5 players.

  9. People have been multiboxing on warsong for over 4(FOUR) years now.

And now it's suddenly a problem?

  10. l2p lol, yes l2p 1vs5 good luck with that I've went with some damn good premades and the same thing always happens, multiboxer turns burst on, wrecks healers, then the other 4 people are pretty much dead unless there are 5 warriors bladestorming so gg, also I don't think it should be totally banned they can if possible just limit it to bigger bgs like arathi or alterac or etc.

That's the thing, it hasn't suddenly become a problem, its always been a problem.

  12. Do i really see a bunch of Alliance players complain? Slap me or pinch me...i need to wake up!!!! I mean, i know it must suck to lose 2 out 10 gamez because of a Hordie boxer...!!!!! Please ban multiboxing, we dont even need that 20% bg win rate, we got used to gathering 3k honor by losing !!!!

    PS. A dedicated Hordie!

  13. Most of them are in full starter gear and easily dealt with, even 1v5.
    Most of them. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Seriously though, it's ya'lls fault for all going alliance to the point where me and my 4 frost DKs are almost the only horde left queuing in the late hours of the night. If I wasn't queuing, you wouldn't even be having any BGs.

And hey, it so happened that the other few random hordes that ended up repeatedly queuing into my matches yesterday started adjusting their plays to support me (things like an ele shaman constantly using a large portion of his mana pool to off-heal me when I had otherwise no way to quickly top myself, flag carriers hugging me to make it easier for me to escort, etc), which probably made it all the more frustrating for alliance.

Buck up. I'm not even really geared yet. All I've got is full 390 honor gear and 2-3 pieces of cataclysmic. There are plenty of alliance teams who've dealt with me head on and won matches against me. Though they usually don't sit in their graveyard complaining in BG chat that about how horribly fast they die if I run around undisturbed.

It's not The Alliance's Fault for being good. Since Sentinel's cracked down on hacking, the horde has lost their biggest BG-carrying cheaters. Now all they have is Boxing... Multiboxing uses a broadcast (3rd party) program to Control BOT characters to mimic a single character. This gives one PERSON the ability to be 10x more Powerful than another PERSON.

Argument: X Skilled players can outmatch a X-Count Multiboxer.
Rebuttal: 1 Skilled player can outmatch X skilled players... using a CHEAT.

    Last summary:
Multiboxing isn't available to everyone. You don't go into wow with the Notice:
Warning: $10,000 worth of Computers required.

  15. Big LoL..
MBoxing not a cheat. 3rd programs mean soft, which can do all staff without player. 10x power than normal person? XD. If mboxer have skills and well geared - u need party with 10 chars. If no, just grab 5 chars and bit him.

    Pls, don't cry. And u don't need a 100k$ PC as well...
