    WoW 3.3.5 upadting

    Hello . A friend downloaded WOTLK 3.3.5 yesterday from warmane site , everytime he was trying to login , an update popped out (realmlist was at warmane and we run wow.exe) . So he logged in ,we let it download it (since there was no ther way) I deleted the update , scan_new.dll and the update was still popping) and on the 1st pc it downloaded the update , did setup and then wanted to download a blizzard manager on something like that . On his other pc he logged in , it was saying update failed and he still couldnt login and make character etc. Any suggestions?
