Phoenix is a organized community of high-end raiders and the last heroic raiding guild on Alliance still actively progressing. So far we have cleared 8/8 HC with three different 10-man groups and we have ALT-raids clearing 6/8 HC multiple days a week.
Even though we are a dedicated and serious raiding guild we value a strong and comfortable community above all else, therefor we are very strict with our applications and accept only the most promising applicants who present themselves as both capable of heroic raiding and being part of our community / representing the guild to players outside of the guild. As we value our guild and the reputation it carries we do not allow our members to harass, cheat or exploit, nor do we accept applications from players who do.
We obey the rules of common sense in Phoenix; if these are rules that you do not follow then this is not the guild for you.

I've been away for a week and haven't had the opportunity to update this thread until now, so; bump!
We are still actively recruiting any and all players meeting the requirements to raid. As we are not only an active PvE guild but also a social guild we do accept people who would in general be a nice addition to our community, even if they do not actively raid :)

It's funny how you can go for hours on the same encounter and get nowhere, then remake it a few days later and get it on the first try. Either way; Spine HC is defeated and our progression is now 8/8 HC! (We also have another core who downed it the day before our remake, but we don't talk about that.)
Next stop; 8/8 25HC!

So my core members wanted me to update the thread with our Madness of Deathwing Heroic kill, so here it is:
We struggled with the last 5%, but in the end we decided to just chicken race it and voila - it's a kill. Hell of a close call, but a kill nonetheless! We now have two cores with both 8/8 HC and a third core currently at 6/8 HC.
As posted in a comment above our recruitment is closed for the moment but will be reopened again shortly as we've decided to do some changes within the guild and want to have everything organized before we decide to take in more people.

Conclave was succesful but Al'Akir was not possible to do as the encounter seems to have major issues at the moment giving everybody WoW-error during the last phase, so we decided to leave it for later this week where hopefully the issue will be resolved and we can add it to our list of achievements!Edited: April 20, 2015

Recruitment is now open again!
We have taken some time to sort things out within the guild and have cleaned out the roster of people with bad behavior and causing problems for the guild in general. We value a good environment and community above all else and intend to keep it that way. On another note; we still raid daily and are still looking for active and capable raiders.
We currently have no class recruitment priority, so if you are a good player who wants to join a community of active HC raiders and can handle the responsibility of carrying a guild name and acting accordingly - both within and outside of the guild - then you are very welcome to apply on our site here!

Bumping this thread to say that we now have three 10-man cores which have cleared 8/8 HC, but as of last night we have decided to put the priority of 10-man progression on hold and organize ourselves to make 8/8 HC in 25-man our #1 priority.
Our recruitment is still open with no specific class priority, however we are interested in recruiting new, active and capable Raid Leaders for 10-man HC runs. We already have multiple raid leaders, but we do want more. If you think you are up for the task then make an application on our guild site here and leave a note at the end of your application saying that you are interested in being a raid leader. All of our active HC-raiders are capable of assisting each other while raiding, but what we need are people who want to create raids through the guild site calendar and maintain the raid through TS during the encounters (having a mic and using it is a must for a raid leader.)
